vaping is beginning to get like the high-end Hi-Fi scene. People spend so much time analysing their systems they forget to listen to music. You've even got the snake oil salesmen turning up now selling super magic unobtanium wire that'll magically transform your experience at a price...

  1. Push button
  2. vape
  3. Grunt
Works for me!

People are and have been searching for something that works, frustrated when it doesnt and trying to figure out why when it doesn't. I think systems are finally getting refined enough to maybe not have to think to much (thank god, ay!) Remember cigalikes with dying batteries no juice, cart tanks w tight cotton f'd up juice holes, kayfun wicking and coils. It is/will be nice to just vape. This industry is young and evolving quickly

If regulating force stay out of the way (unlikely), not even the sky is the limit.

My old man owned and ran a hi end hifi store for 30 years. I used to solder up those unobtainium cables after school for him lol [emoji106]

I worked for two hi end Hi-Fi shops in the 70's and then went on to Pro-Audio. The similarities between these two industries is interesting.

I too, worked in a high-end audio shop when I was a college student... I remember getting a WONDERFUL and EXPENSIVE to print Mark Levinson Audio catalog and opening it up. The gear was beautiful to look at, wildly expensive for the times, used odd little connectors to make it that much more special... Solid Silver interconnect cables. The photographs in the book were simply stunning... the gear positively gleamed.

The product descriptions discussed everything about what it took to make the equipment... the quality of the individual parts... the cosmic design principals. I read the catalog cover to cover... several times. The catalog itself was pleasing to the senses. The weight of the cover. The finish of the pages. The smell of the really high quality ink used to produce it. It was an amazing experience.

The word "MUSIC" didn't appear in the catalog... not even once.

The American high-end brands, Mark Levinson, Krell, seemed impossibly exotic to a budding audiophile in the UK back in the '70's. I always lusted after Mcintosh, not only did they create the amps for the Grateful Dead's Wall of Sound but their VU meters were blue:cool:

I thought, h00, after an uncountable number of promises, that you were leaving never to be heard or seen again. Once again, my hopes have been dashed.

h00 says:

I am truly out of this thread I wish you all the best including zen. I hope my thread can offer another place for people to discuss with less rules and judgment. Particularly judgment on people based on an hour a week of their life which shows just about nothing if who someone is. Much like the rest of the Internet.

I get that this very small thread of a few people have a similar philosophy which doesn't align with mine. That's great. Room For everyone. I'll just make sure I don't disrupt this area any further. And you don't have to visit he new thread where people are purely happy with discussing the tech stuff and geeking out.

Ah yes the air of course. I should have remembered to add that. Thanks.

I like hobbying. Not all do. I consume and hobby. It's what brings me joy. Sorry it's not up to your standards. I've cr aged a thread for hobbyists that vape using great build around nautilus and triton mini coils. I'd suggest that's not the hothead for @zen and most here. Feel free not visit as I'm telling you in advance its not for you. It's got hobbying in it. And it's going to have stuff regarding what we're putting in our body. Info about that. And general needing it about stuff. Stuff you don't care about. So I'll go there and you all can stay here. And we can all chose to enjoy to
Our great content the way we choose. No one way is right for all. You've been totally clear on your view and what makes you happy about it. I get it. Again. Clearly I have a different happiness from different things. I don't desire you to condone or understand it. Just to respect your way isn't the right way for everyone. Your oversimplification are just that. And what you design and why you design it may not be why people enjoy it. There may be more ways for people to enjoy your designs. Why fight that? It ruins the fun for you. It is he fun for a very large percentage of vapers. You just seem to not believe they exist or that's true. Sorry mate it is and they do.

Enjoy your kabuki tanks everyone. And enjoy vaping as you want to whether it's to place liquid and press fire. Or discuss the inner workings or whatever.

I would like to say just one thing...

Vaping is a world of variables.

Resistance varies, Juice varies, Airflow varies, Power varies... Even when nothing has changed, It Varies.

It is not an exact art at all.

That was people listening with their eyes. I'm afraid alot of people vape the same way. Still, its good to keep your eyes open.

Everyone who listens to my audio system is amazed at the sound quality, which is, I have to admit, rather good! My speakers? A stacked pair of B&W DM2 Mk2's from the mid 1970's. So yes, that's two pairs, two speakers each side of the fireplace, one on top of the other. In their day they were excellent speakers and IMO still are. But, maybe surprisingly, stacking them transforms them into something really special. Speaker cable? Mains electric cable! Power amps? Behringer! Definitely not audiophile territory. But as I say, everyone who comes to listen is amazed at the sound quality and that is what counts.

I absolve you of any reponsibility in advance. :) tastes are very personal things...

The description of the crescent moon just sounds delightful. and i'm going to try the 4 journey ones too :)

Phew, that's a relief. Over the Rainbow reminds me a bit juicy fruit chewing gum, it has a slight cooling edge to it. I like it because it's a nice light flavour. Under the Sea is a really nice natural mint, it has a touch of cucumber in it which sounds odd but is actually very good. If you've ever tried Hendricks gin you'll get an idea of how it works as a component in the flavour.

Anne-Claire is an absolute genius in creating subtle flavors that really perk up the senses. Her background as a champagne blending sommelier makes her uniquely qualified to be a premier designer in this industry.

Plus... she's an awesome person!

Do you remember stacked Advents? They were pretty amazing!

I didn't realise she had that kind of background, the only interviews with her I've found have been in French. There's something special going on with those liquids for sure, loved the one she did for the Njoy Artist collection as well.

I met her at the Artist Collection pre-launch party, it was the first time the Flavor Artists were able to really get together and blow off steam. She's amazing, and her husband is the creator of Le' Grosse Petit which is a real powerhouse in it's own right. She previously worked for Moet, so her pedigree is pretty much at the top of her former industry. Sacre Coeur is one of the most complex, and wonderful juices I have ever tasted. It's not an all-day juice for me, to be sure, but when it comes to bringing out subtle notes and tones in a flavor, I consider her work to be at the very top of the mark. People either love her work, or it's too challenging for them. It really does titillate the palate.

I love the way certain flavours keep you guessing. Every hit gives you a new variation of taste.I get vaper's tongue really easily so complex liquids seem to work for me, keep my tastebuds on their toes so to speak.
I've never tried any P.O.E.T liquids, but their flavour descriptions seem to hit similar notes. I wish you could get them in the UK, so far I've only tried Dragonscape which was another one of the Njoy collection.

My point is to say there's only one way of enjoying vaping is like saying there's only one way to enjoy cars.

Did anyone say this here? I don't recall that attitude even stated, much less enforced. Maybe there is confusion with other threads or another forum?

I suggest you pick up some spare parts at HOH for the Kabuki -- as these new coils may very well be more suited to your accustomed vaping style.

I personally believe you will be really glad you invested in Kabuki and a ProVi in your coming months.... when even the thought of filling a tank could be cumbersome. Been there, done that, so it's experience talking.
