I literally just came on here to post this!! I nearly grabbed one but I want the P3 threaded one for my mrs but the 510 version is a serious bargain at that price!

I ordered my second Kabuki and a PV Radius from Creme de Vape a few hours ago so too late to use that coupon code. Great, quick and reliable delivery service from them. Just a pity you cannot communicate with them by telephone though.

welcome Vaper Bob ... these Kabuki fans, here in the ProVape forum, know everything possible about these amazing tanks.

you often see the @Zen Master himself posting in this thread ... nice setup you have :vapor:
Good to know that Willy. Just ordered my second Kabuki after I tried the same juice in my Aspire K1 Glasometer starter kit. The flavour difference is VAST!

Don't worry Bob, the discount isnt valid on Provape products, so you didnt miss out on the Radius discount, the P3 Kabuki isnt included either as those are bought from Provape where as the 510 Kabuki is bought direct from house of hybrids :thumb:

Hi all, I'm a newbie to vaping, just 3 weeks cigarette free after being a pack a day guy for far too many years. After getting the hang of it on a decent starter kit, I acquired a P3 with the bigger Nautilus and knew that my smoking days are most likely behind me. So I bought another P3 and this time with the Kabuki. In spite of soaking the Aspire coils correctly (I think), I get a hot rubber taste from the same juice I use in the P3/Nautilus setup. I've changed coils twice, switched P3s etc and still the same result. Can you believe the Nautilus delivers a clean taste and the Kabuki doesn't! Ok, so today I washed the Kabuki out after taking it apart (all except the top which I can't pull apart from the glass) and setting the coil aside. After drying with paper towels and a hairdryer, I put it back together and put in a fresh coil for the third time. But first I dripped juice into those holes around the coil, and about 3 drops into the end. But this was no different than what I'd done with the previous coils. This time I let it stand 15 minutes and then took a vape at my usual 10 watts. The hot rubber taste returned. So I left it to soak for another two and a half hours (!) and turned the P3 down to 7 watts only. I've just started vaping it ever so gently and NO hot rubber taste........yet! I'm terrified of turning the watts up or taking a deep drag. Just feel that the hot rubber taste will return. Here's the thing: its not exactly like the dry burnt hit we're all used to. It's like hot rubber which I've not experienced before in my brief vaping career. Anyone have an explanation or comment? Would REALLY appreciate it.

Any time I have experienced a burnt rubber taste is when overdriving a coil and the legs that are captured by the grommet of the coil got hot. I've never had this happen with a Nautilus coil, but then again, I always start out at about 7 watts with them.

Question, how old is your Nautilus base, and have you taken out the pin and spring and cleaned them. They can get pretty fouled up rather quickly. The Kabuki may be giving a better conductivity to the coil, delivering more useful current at a lower setting than if you were driving your Nautilus coils with a dirty connection because of the spring and post design of the Nautilus base. Note, this is all conjecture on my part...

I happen to like your conjecture, Mr. E, so I'm givin' ya a big ole

Welcome to this part of Vape Land, Bob. It's always been a habit (something I learned very early on) to start any atty quite low. I think you'll be fine raising your wattage now that you've vaped it (happily) on 7 watts for a while. Give it a go. Take the plunge! Crank it up to 8!!! :D

Already vaping at 8W darling! Soon cranking it up to my usual 10W with low boost. Seems I have the problem licked. You've all been such a confidence booster!

The coils were almost new. It seems like I should have been starting at lower wattage after letting it all stand for a longer period. All going well now after starting at 7W and now up to 8. Blissful!
