So what is the range?

Before i read also in this topic most people are in the 6-10 range.

I've also tried 15 but no better results.

Thanks btw for your help, really appriciated!
I don't get great flavor until the second tank. The first tank, I'm gradually increasing watts from 8 to 10, in small increments. By the time I'm half way through the second tank, I'm at about 10.4-10.8 watts, airflow open one turn, and am loving life.

I find that there are too many variables to use just a general range for power.

Different airflow, and juice properties require each and every setup to be slightly different. (even drip tips can cause a variation)

I would simply suggest, and do this myself, Start low and increase until you are satisfied.

Try not to focus on the numbers, just the taste.

Thanks for the feedback, maybe I'm not patient enough.

You are completely right, it's not all about numbers and I'am aware of many variables.
I use the original driptip btw and my vaping juice is Rocket Fuel Reaper blend, a NET.

I'll give it another shot tomorow (night time in Holland now) and will post my (hopefully) positive results tomorrow.

I'am a impatient person and I never had problems like this with other tanks, rda's or rba's, so thats why I am so confused I can not get a quality vape.

Thanks both for the input!

Very strange - I use to use the Nauti mini and full size before switching to the Kabuki. I made the switch, as you did, due to the great reviews on this forum. I also mainly use Rocket Fuel Vapes juice (70PG/30VG), just not Reaper. I use five of their flavors, and they are all fantastic in the Kabuki...better than any of the Nauti's I have used. When I start a fresh juice, I simply put a drop in the four small holes on the new BVC coil, and after installing it in the base I put a few drops in the top of the coil. I then let it sit vertical for about 10-15 min. After that all is good, but it does improve a bit more on the second fill.

That being said, I use the ProVari P3 and Radius, which is so much better for the vaping flavor, even with the old Nauti, not to speak of how well it vapes using the Kabuki. Not trying to up-sell you to the ProVari, just trying to let you know my experience! I vape at around 10.4W, but have to agree with the others, that I got to the 10.4 setting by taste, rather than looking at numbers. In fact, I am so happy with this combination, that I will soon be getting a second Radius.

Hope this helps some, and good luck finding the right combination. :pervy:

Hi guys, random question but had a little cleaning issue. Does anyone that owns both the 510 and P3 version know if the top section (drip tip section) are exactly the same on both versions?

Normally clean them separate but ended up getting them all mixed up. They both look the same, but don't want to try putting them back together until I know for sure.

Apologies for the silly question.
Here's your answer:

Interesting observation, The top (Chimney) section for the P3 and 510 are identical, and all made at the same time, 10,000 Pcs at a time. There IS a slight difference, in how far the coil sits in the base... the coil sits higher in the 510.

That being said, so to speak, I believe that the 510 uses a different size o-ring? so to differentiate between the two, you may need to compare O-rings, or test fit a glass piece onto the different parts to see if you can detect any difference...
Quite possibly I could also be totally off base with this, memory being what it is...

Haha o .... dont talk me into this ok :d

Honestly I am already 2 days holding myself NOT buying a Provari, cause everybody is so damn positive about them,
also in comination with the Kabuki. I never vaped on one.

Ironicly i was just looking again at some topics about the P3 and also the Radius.

But I have spend TOO much money on vape gear lately, really to much and the Provari's are pricey.

On the other hand I do like High end for all the stuff I buy, not only vaping gear.

Is the difference in vaping quality / taste really so big compared to let's say a Yihi Sx M class, or DNA 40 / 200 devices?

And wich one you prefer, the P3 or the Radius, or is it really only the form factor what's making the difference.

Also keeping in mind the Radius is a newer device, wich one hou recommend, or is it pure a box mod lover / tube mod lover case?

I"m sorry to go offtopic on this.

Btw nice to know you are a RF fan as well, but makes it indeed even more strange why I can't get a good vape.

Since a few days I am owner of a Kabuki 510, but so far I am Only getting really muted flavour.

In my early vaping period I used a nauti mini with really good results and flavour,
but after that I got more into temp control vaping and sub ohm vaping.

Lately I more and more dislike vaping at higher wattage and want to go back at low wattage vaping,
so I bought the Kabuki after reading all the positive posts here and elswhere.

But so far I have no luck, and have very muted flavour.

The wattage range i've tried is between 6 and 10 on different mods.
First I thought it was maybe because a bad coil and (to) low nic level, so today i changed from 6 (my sub own level) to 12 (my naut mini level) nicotine and a new coil but still the flavour is really muted after 1 tank.

I use the 1.6 coils with the airflow fairly open. Do these coild need a special break-in rituel I am not aware of in the Kabuki?
I never had problems with that in the Nauti, I even let it settle with juice for a whole day with this new coil before slowly breaking in the coil.

I hope you Kabuki experts can help me out, I really want to love this tank, thans in advance for your help!
Sounds like you are using thick/high vg juice? Try to find or mix up a high pg blend (like 70pg or higher). I think you'll find that it will perform MUCH better.

Fortune favors the Bottom Feeders.

I know the pain of spending too much money over the last few years, just to finally end up with quality that works for me. If I had only heard of this forum before I spent all that other money, I would have ended up with the P3 earlier. The Nauti did serve it's purpose for me until the kabuki came out. Tried aspire mini kit, VaporFi mod 50, iLeaf, and others. Always using the aspire Nauti and Triton. I do not do sub-ohm, and never plan to. I vape because it has got me off the cigar for over a year now. Between the ProVari P3 and the Radius, I plan to mostly now use the Radius. I like the form factor, vape quality, reliability, and service from ProVape. Also, sounds like we both like Rocket Fuel Vapes!

It damned near killed me to "like" this post. But it was a great game! I'm a NE fan, through and through. And, I love Peyton Manning. Kinda hard to reconcile .

My wife was born and raised in Boston. Talk about a House divided come football season. :w00t:

OK also received my RBA for Nautilus, can confirm it won't fit the Kabuki, maybe if I shorten the chimney...but no way I am doing that LOL (maybe get a clone to molest :), but it does fit the Nautilus....have not build on it yet, the build deck is very very tiny....I think I'll give it a go on the Nauti and then it goes into the vapocalypse pile :D
