Several months ago, I mentioned to IkenVape that they might do well to contact Zen about specs for IKV Nauti coils. There coils are so good, that I was hoping that might be a win-win for everyone. I would sure like to see Isaac and IKV back in the game.

Mommay, I have no idea(r) of the relationship between HoH and IKV, but how SA'WEEEEEEEEEET would THAT be to have that partnership!! That would be a win-win-win...... HoH, IKV, and us!!!!

And I'd DEARLY love to see Isaac back on top. Dearly... Le sigh.

So, Willy? Were you able to get more info? I looked at the site, and also saw NO P3s listed. It may be, as The Stealth said, just a lack of updating the site, but in all honesty, coolerat, this has been most confusing. (To me, anyway.)

I've never seen a business that was serious about being in business or staying in business ... who never updates their website.

particularly in an Industry as young as vaping ... I'm still not convinced they have anything other than a few overpriced 2.5s

There is also the fact, anybody can be listed as a ProVari dealer ... you just have to apply.

you can even buy just one ProVari at dealer pricing ... you don't have to stock dozens of Provi to be listed as a ProVape reseller.

It's gonna be for local people of whom "that guy" is one of.

It's not really gonna do much for folks far from Upstate NY. Unless they want to shop at Destiny USA in which case it's just up the road.

So Worthless Info?!?

Even More Confused!!!

Guess, I'll just stick to what works in my real world.

For me it's not necessarily a matter of which is better, but depriving the person (in this case @Zen~ ) that took the trouble to innovate of some deserved income just rubs me the wrong way. Also, if everyone buys clones, that would be a pretty significant disincentive to come out with a version 2 or whatnot. Then you have less innovation and you're stuck with leaky subtanks :)

While I agree with you 100%, I can tell you right now, that Mike=(ZEN) doesn't see it this way. He understands that not everyone can afford a premium device, and is more interested in People Keeping off Cigs. This is why he got into the business, and why he stays in it! ;)

If you but look at Zen's site, you will find that he will service for instance, Clone ZNA's. to include repair, and or up-date with DNA Chips.
Name me one other company that goes this far to help keep people off the Stinky's!:)

If ZEN himself is ok with it, who am I or anyone else to say differently.

I have been fortunate, or unfortunate to have lived on both sides of the fence. Before my young wife was struck with a non-curable, terminal and debilitating disease, and becoming Her full time Caregiver, I made more a day, than many people do in a month. Now we live on less a month, than most average people make in less than a week. I could in no way come up with the money to buy one of my past creations. Don't even own one. (But my wife has one, and would kill me if I sold it. No matter how bad things get. LOL!!!)

For his ability to understand that not all can afford the best of the best-----------

My hat is off the Zen of HOH!!!:thumb:

And now that we have gotten to know each other a bit, I feel I can call him a friend. We think a LOT alike, and have common ground.

Willy, I don't know what's up with his local dealer, but to be honest, my local vape shop, whom I think the world of, is a Provari dealer, has Radius in stock, but has never updated their website with them. Not all vape shops do a brisk internet sales business, my vape shop is an example of that.

I'm thinking that this Provape group of folks isn't a good fit for me.

So I'm gonna bow out gracefully and head backstairs.

I wish everyone here all the best.

Coolerat, don't let this discussion turn you away. Group hug........OK?

Coolrat, I understood that you were just trying to help someone that was local to your area. I hope you stick around.

Yeah, that is why I would state that FT (or whatever) is just another channel/alternative that can or cannot be used depending on the need.

For instance, I really wanted to try the Squape but there was NO way I was going to pay that kind of money to find out if I liked the device or not. So I bought a clone to try it out. Loved it so much I purchased an authentic, which has some advantages over the clone (which is usually the case).

That was a need I had where the channel was a good option.

Version 2s of devices usually have the new innovations and with the level of "shinyitis" in the vape industry (or any electronics industry) there is a mad rush to get the latest and greatest so I'm not sure how many are being hurt by a usually lesser quality clone that comes out later. Most end up buying authentic even then if they really love the device.

Just my thoughts.

Yeah, my local vape shop has a terrible website that is not well updated. Lots of differences between website and actual stock. At one time, they used to be mentioned on these forums quite a bit despite this. If anything, their website has gotten worse over time.

Coolerat, not sure why it seemed necessary for some here to make an issue of your simple heads-up to another poster about a potential bargain. In life, those that are the most sure that they are right are often wrong more often than not. A chance to use a favorite quote by Bertrand Russell?... "The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, and wiser people so full of doubts." Anyway, don't let some stranger push you out of here. If you are a user of Provape products, there is good information shared here.

I really, really don't freaking understand why Willy and co. felt the need to call this poster out because he said he found a deal. Willy, I don't recall coolerat asking you to "fall for" anything, and you kept citing "some other guy" and then accused him of being a Provari troll. Very, very disappointing behavior, unless of course you called the same shop coolerat was speaking of, spoke to the same person at the store, and heard something different.

Sad, just sad.

Every subtank I had leaked. And I had 3 of them. I gave two away and was so frustrated with one, I just smashed it. Felt darn tootin good too!

I did and it made me happy! I keep my devices in my pocket when I'm out and about. I was just tired of getting juice in my pants and on my hands. For me the Subtank was an Epic Fail, so smashing one was cathartic! Yes it was! The two I gave away, I piffed here on ECF.

@coolerat don't let the few give a bad name for Provari owners or the general thoughts of people in this thread. You've got some support and you can hang around.

Ive had a couple disagreements, but that didn't keep me away. :D

I have to admit that overall it's a good group of folks.
