Anybody Using A Kabuki?

I just got my 2nd Kabuki last week when Provape had the Flash sale. I put it atop my mini Polished Stainless steel. It's a real nice seamless look. Very happy with my Kabulis!

i need to wait until the end of the month for my points, but... I will keep an eye out for the next sale...

I'll set the other one up with a Gertrude drip tip and the poly tank at some point. That should get the weight down under 4oz..

I have no issues with the standard Kabuki tip [that's Gertie, right?] but the TI one is great looking.
I'd love to hear your opinion comparing them.

Flavor-wise, I think I prefer Gertrude.

The Tiki tip (think it is called Kocho thin) is really nice though.

It looks to be delrin over steel, but maybe the one that comes with the mod is Ti underneath, dunno.

It doesn't open up as wide towards the top as Gertrude, but I think it is about the same at the bottom and then a uniform diameter all along its length.

They were made by the House of Hybrids in limited numbers. Looked very nice but came with the full Kabuki set and as far as I know not available as a one off. Hope this helps.

I was refilling kabooks and decided to change drip tips.

The Gertrude turns out to be larger diameter even at the bottom.

I don't know why I get better flavor with it, over other drip tips, but I do, so that is what is on the Tiki now.

HoH may be using them as packing mat'l, but I like them.

Go figure.

Get a piece of paper towel, or better yet, a pot gripper, open it up, and tighten the coil down really tight.

This has solved the same problem for me every time.

Hm.i have a different tank that i am having the same problem with. I wonder if that would help

If the coil pin isn't making contact, it certainly would be worth making sure it's fully tightened down!

I use a wide rubber band.
More grippy.
And I make sure the O-ring on the coil is lubed with spit or e-liquid...
