I was in from '79-'85, I remember one patrol where we were towing a side scan sonar assembly on a long tether along the US / USSR treaty line up around Adak AK. Fellers from Washington aboard and all that stuff. Those were some pretty weird times...

Not sure where you went to Boot camp, but I did Cape May. Remember when they would jump you in town to get a picture? I was a sucker and did it....at the time, I felt like a nitwit. Now I'm glad I did cause it makes me chuckle.

Cape May and Wildwood! I fondly recall the wonderful beach with the best Italian sausage and peppers sandwich shops on the boardwalk.

Twas a treat to visit when I was growing up -- usually getting there via the Cape May--Lewis Ferry. Never visited the VFW.....there.;)

If you been to one VFW, you been to em all. Buncha ole gammers in there willing to buy you drinks till you fall off the bar stool and tell you war stories till your ears meet ya on the floor. Great peeps though and a cheap drunk.

Writing this reminded me that we (I belong to the American Legion) lost our last WWII vet recently. The oldest living combat vet we have now is from the Korean war. I hope the future generations don't forget what those brave men and women sacrificed. They were true heroes one and all.

I can't match you guys! I was not in the Real Military, Just the USAF LOL!!! Loadmaster on 141's

Never will forget taking a bunch of new Army Jumpers up. Dayumed near every one of them threw up in their helmets. Dayum-est thing I ever saw. Don't know what got into them. I did have a clear plastic bag of mixed veggie and peas soup and acted like I threw up in it, and then drank it. Gesh, those boys were easy.

My Senior Loadmaster made me do it.

Then there was the time----- Well, this could go on for hours!;)

I put the drip tip from the ss Kabuki on the Ti. The Ti tip is very nice, and well made. Did I mention that the Ti-Tip is quite elegant?:) But the "Packing Aid" Standard Kabuki tip gives a richer vape for me at least!;)

Me too!

Go figure...

IMHO, I don't care what flavor of Airedale u are. You took the time, effort, and risk for your country. <hand salute>. For that matter, if u served in any capacity in any of the five branches you will always have my utmost respect [emoji2]

Just wanted to post a PSA regarding 510 Kabuki's and the secondary market. Curiosity got the best of me and I grabbed a 510 Clownbuki from Fasstech. They are coming standard with a socket screw in the 510 base now, and it is virtually impossible to differentiate the clown from the real deal. I say virtually impossible because in person their is a slight difference in the appearance between the two airflow screws, and it is a very minor difference that probably will not be apparent in photos...

Yep,, Zen agrees, that the clone seems to be pretty well made, He has a couple of them himself. (Had to see them for himself ya know!).

I am finding refilling the P-3 Kabuki much easier in the Gen. The clone always captures the base pin of the coil in the 510 version. No idea if this is an issue with the Gen Zen. I do know that I couldn't use about 50 % of the coils in the knock-off, as they wouldn't thread in. Mine and My Wifes both had the problem.
I would have to take the coils out to the shop, and polish the threads that went into the chimney.

For pure test purposes, I kept a few that would not thread into the clone, not polished to see what the results would be in the Genuine Ti-Kabuki. Well, the Coils threaded into the Zen Made Kabuki slick as butter!

So there you have it. "Yes Virginia", there "IS" a difference!!! The Real ZEN Kabuki wins hands down!:)

I think the coils seat a few thousandths higher in the clones, I don't believe that they will wick till empty like the real deal does, yes Virginia there is a difference, but they did do a pretty good job of copying this design...

I have been reading this long thread on the Kabuki. I finally decided I needed to join this forum. I own a Provari P3. It was my first vape instrument ever and still one of my favorites. I now have a bunch of devices but always had a special place in my heart for Provari. I work in a vape shop and we are an authorized reseller for Provape and we got in a couple of Radius's in our store (Black Onyx and Ghost White. I bought the black one last friday and today I picked the white one. (yes I pay full price on these) I am currently using a Vengeance by Council of Vapor with a 0.8 ohm coil and it works really well.

Now I just learned about the Kabuki and decided I want these on my Radius's so I ordered the P3 threaded stainless Kabuki and the Ti Kabuki from Provape. I already picked up a couple of packs of Nautilus BVC coils. So I have a few questions for you folks.

Those that have the Ti Kabuki...its P3 threaded and has a 510 attachment that screws on to the P3 connection? I was trying to understand that. Also I have read is not a good a idea to completely remove the set screw? Just want to make sure I dont mess up or damage anything. I didnt know if the titanium was softer than the stainless Kabuki. Any advice or recommendations are welcome. I think I will put the Ti Kabuki on my Ghost White Radius ad the stainless on my black one.

You've certainly got good taste!

A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away...
Zen released three Kabuki models. A 510 threaded tank, a P3 threaded tank, and a Z2 threaded tank.

Since then, Zen has created an adapter, which can install to any P3 threaded tank, thus converting it to a 510 style tank. Along with the launch of the P3>510 adapter, Zen discontinued producing the 510 threaded Kabuki tanks, and now only offers the Z2, the P3, and the P3>510 adapter.

The Ti-Buki comes with a P3>510 adapter, which can be removed, to reveal the P3 connector, which will attach directly to your Radius or P3 device!
With the adapter installed, the Ti-Buki will work on any 510 threaded mod.
It's the best of both worlds!
