Does anybody know if it's possible to purchase spare Kabuki parts like the 510 insulator, positive grub screw and P3 base?

Go to:

house of hybrids

I'm not sure if the insulators are on the site.

You might need to contact them for those, but HoH will take of you.

Just called HoH. They're sending me the insulator free of charge.

Now that's service!

Yes you can. simply contact HOH, google House of Hybrids.

Oop's, I see I was late to the party! You won't find better customer service than Zen's HOH!

Typed here while sitting here huffing on a Ti-Kabuki topped Radius.

Go to the House of Hybrids website. They have an inline store there...Gumption Depot or something like that. All their wares are listed. Not sure about all the parts you asked about.

I'm a little disappointed in Provape. I thought yesterday's St Patrick's day flash sale would be a nice time to try this Kabuki thing everybody's talking about. Was going to order the stealth but all the cautionary tales of cheap coating that easily wore off scared me, so I thought I would just try out the stainless version. Damn! Sold Out!

Now, the next day they're back in stock! What?

So Kabuki-less I remain.

That's not a good situation to be in. :)

Hoping not to offend the owners of this forum, I have an alternative.

Mt Baker carries the SS Kabuki in either their blue or the standard black. And you don't have to google very hard to find their ongoing 10% off code.

I buy a lot from Pro vape and always recommend their products, but being Kabuki-less is dire enough to warrant a small detour.

I checked that out Geeky. Mt Baker's version (1.5 with P3 threading and 510 adapter) is $10 more than Provape's P3 version. Plus, they charge tax for me as well at $7 so it ends up being about $15 more overall with a 13% discount applied.

I'll just have to wait out another sale. I'm not bad off, I am running a variety of really good RTAs like Erlkoningin and Gem. I've just had a run of bad luck on my latest acquisitions and I thought it might be a good time to try Kabuki. I'll probably keep an eye out for a good used one, I'm still not quite sold on this whole pre-built coil experience, so I was just thinking about dabbing my toe in the water so to speak.

But thanks for the tip, it was worth checking out!

Hey, if they don't have them, go somewhere that does, and this being a Kabuki thread I have no qualms saying that Mt Baker is having a 16% off sale on the 21st. I may get one then.

Paying 10 bucks more for the adapter with the unit is well, just good sense. That adapter purchased separately is MORE!

Iit truly adds to versatility. So much so, that I haven't told my wife that I have the adapter that will allow her to use my new Ti-Kabuki on her Old Provaries, or odd box mods.:evil:Muahahaha!!!;)

More than likely, the more fragile coat is the Stealth, whereas the ZEN cote actually changes the surface of the SS on a molecular level. It is Much, Much more durable!

I would think if Provae doesn't have it, HOH would.

I picked the Ti version. If I should scratch it, I take it into the shop, Bead Blast it, and in just a few minutes, It will look brand new!:)

I've done this already in our 2.5 Provaries. They look just like the day we got them!;)

Sorry Scotdc,

Stock changes quickly and sometimes the sales land on a day when we are out of something. We hope to have these back in stock for the next event :)

Smoothbore?

It's an air rifle. It shoots a 80 to 110 grain cast bullet at up to 1200+ fps, and can keep them in a 1/2" group at 100 yards.

got a headshot on a squirrel last winter at near 180 yards. It does a fine job on wild Hog's as well.

A few of my fellow owners of these customs, have shot them out to over 1000 yards with good results.
