Thanks to everyone for the comments. Almost 100% of my vaping with Nautilus coils has been withe Space Jam Eclipse, which I'm pretty sure is 50-50, so higher VG juices are not the problem.

If the Kabuki turns out to be perfect tank for me, and I have to change the coil every day at $2~2.50 a pop, then I guess I just have to pay it. What I need to do, I suppose, is start on a Sunday morning and just vape with the Kabuki and Eclipse for a week and see where I am. Right now with seven juices going in lots of tanks and mods, I have no idea what I'm spending--and up to this point do not want to know!

I sure wish I knew of a dealer that still had the pre-cotton coils in-stock. I'd load up. I have 75 dealers bookmarked. I guess I could email all of them and ask? Anyone know of a dealer with the old coils?

I would also like a black Kabuki with dark grey glass to match my P3 Stealth.
Avid Vaper : Personal Vaporizers and Accessories has hand wrapped Cisco Spec replacement Naughty coils that are cleanable and last a looooooooong time.

Worth a look.

Jim

I don't know if it's still the case, but MFS had them for awhile. You had to request them when you ordered though. I'll pop them an email since it's likely they're out by now.

Nice find, Mowgli. Sweet-Vapes also offers the same, which is where we've been buying from. Now I'm bookmarking evape too, so thanks!

Yeah, E, they were our beat-all for quite awhile (all options considered).

And a big, fat, YES on the MFS sales. When they hit the big ones (coming up, as you said) the N coils come in around $7+, which is tough to beat. I've been loading up during those sales too. :)

Jim, on the Cisco Spec coils, which resistance would you buy for the Kabuki? They have 1, 1.5 and 2ohm. Thanks.
I would buy the resistance that closely mimics the stock coil that comes with your Kabuki.

Although, I have at least one of each resistance in my posse...

When I break down and finally buy a Kabuki, which is not too far off, I may be able to add to this answer.

Take Care, Jim

Congratulations, Rixsta! I hope you love it as we do, and welcome to Kabuki Land!

JUMA55, Zen~ posted awhile back about the Cisco Spec Nautilus coils. His opinion was that the 1Ω was a little touchy, but the 1.5Ω and 2Ω are flavor monsters.

DPL, still interested in trying one out? I have to go and check the site for the care and feeding instructions to determine if they might be a happy addition to the stable, or if KatLazy would object to them.

(sigh)

I'm going to trust your judgment on this one, Kat. If you say we're trying them, then we're trying them. My Naughty Fate is in your hands.

FunFund it though, if we do. Please. And don't argue with me - you'll lose. :p
