Yes sir you can! The fit the P3 connection Kabuki without issue. If used in the 510 base, you will have to remove the contact pin in the bottom of the coil and replace it with the Nauti pin. However, it must be kept in mind, that even though the Triton Mink has a larger pass thru hole thru the coil, the base pin is also larger. Giving more air flow. The Nauti pin used in the Triton Mini may very well defeat the purposes, and explain many people not liking it, as it would choke off the airflow quite a bit. .

Knife

I will stick with the Nautilus coils for now since I have like 6 packs of coils lol! And I need to keep trying the 50/50 juice to see if the coil does better.

Ok, you guys are terrible influences. :p

I am loving my Nautilus tanks on my 2.5/P3/Classic mods but am just bored I guess.;)

I have my eye on a Kabuki and will likely pick one up at my local B&M today. I hear great things about them and I really really love the Nautilus coils. The coils last a long time for me, are readily available, are fairly cheap and I very rarely get a dud. Plus I have a good supply on hand.

So likely for the 100th time... Are they worth 3x that of a Nautilus? Are they as durable? Do they leak more? Etc.

Lastly, I have heard that the black finished Kabuki wears very quickly. Am I better off with stainless? Gun Metal? I don't really care about the look but would likely prefer GM or black, but I don't want to pay more for a worn looking, paint flaking mess down the road.

Ok, let me have it.:)

The black stealth model's finish is far from durable. There are several example pics among several pages of this thread. If you can get your hands on a GMZ model, that's likely the most durable. Stainless is nice as well. As far as the value compared to a Nautilus... Without question (IMO) it's worth every penny if not more. No leakage after 6 months and 3 authentics and 2 Klowns, with the exception of coil failure.

Cool. Thx.

So the gun metal is indeed a ZenKote finish? If so, that is the one as I love my GMZ and Gold Zenkote 2.5's. Amazing finish IMO.

Edit: do they generally come as 510? P3? Both with an adapter?

Sorry about the newb questions....

House of Hybrids is no longer manufacturing 510 Kabukis. I think you can still get the MBV Edition in 510, but P3 versions in stainless and titanium can be had from Provape. The titanium version comes with a P3 -> 510 adapter, quartz glass, and a polycarb tank section as well. I don't think the stainless P3 comes with the adapter tho.

Just be careful with that glass. I got mine and just taking it apart i managed to drop the glass cause things were so tight. Did not even get to use it and had to order a new glass and wait again. So either get a replacement glass right off the bat or use caution when opening it up.

While I still have, and occasionally use, my Nautilus full size and minis I think the Kabuki's are great. Yes they are a little spendy but I have felt they are worth the extra $ twice now. I primarily vape Kabuki or Kayfun. Last one I got from Mt Baker was a version 1.5. P3 threads with a 510 adaptor. Have only rocked P3.

I think so. Of all the tanks I use, my P3 Kabuki is my favorite. Mine has not leaked a single drop as of yet. While it was pricy, in terms of tanks, I'd consider it well worth it, and I can see myself with another one one day when it's in my budget (GMZ if I can!). I would follow a previous poster's suggestion to order a replacement glass with it though, better safe than cracked/broken and sorry. The tank itself though is exceptionally durable (hey, glass breaks).

Here's some info on the Silicon rings now at HOH that is quite useful, IMHO. (I think only the Ti version comes with them).

Info from The Horse's Mouth!!!

Talked to ZEN at length today, and one of the things that we talked about, was the "0" rings for the Kabuki.

I was wondering if the Kabuki body in TI was of a different ID (outside dimension)", as the glass globe was so easily removeable. As was the base when filling.

Zen told me that the original O rings were of a fairly firm 70 durometer, whereas the new 0 rings were in the neighborhood of 40-45 durometer. Using contact wheels in my business of KnifeMaking, I am very familiar with differing Duro. ratings. This is a "HUGE" difference!

It took ZEN over half a year to have something as seemingly simple as custom "O" Rings made for us. What would seem simple, is in reality, a real PITA. It's very hard to have a manufacturer, change something in it's production line. Much more so if it is a run of an item that is not normally used, or have a wide need in industry.
Why go to this all this trouble of having "Custom "O" Rings made? Now folks, the answer to that IS Simple.

Zen wants to make the very best product possible. Not just the best he can make, but the best that can be obtained from Any Source. Period!

But still, why all the trouble? Well, remember all the fuss over just why the globes were cracking when filling the Kabukis? Turns out, it was the interface between the O rings and the glass. Not the type of glass itself.

Who Knew right? And to think many of us complained about the type of glass used, mostly not knowing that it was in reality a superior product in and of itself. Grrrrrrr!!!

So there you have it. To keep tolerances in a precision device was paramount to HOH. The O rings turned out to be the culprit all along.

Now who else but our very own ZEN would put out the amount of money, effort in research, and negotiations with manufacturers of such a mundane item, to simply make life a little easier for us.

Other than Provape, HOH is the only one in this business I can think of.

Man, we are so lucky to have these two great companies catering to our needs.

Can you imagine the possibilities if these two got together for our benefit? Now that would be a World Changer in the Vape World.

Knife

News flash, Silicone O rings are now fully available from HOH, and the new Black silicon O rings will be added in a short time. There were problems getting the black Colour right, but they pulled it off. Woo-Hoo!! Don't ya just Love-it when a plan comes together!:)

I like steel tanks so I am hoping my retailer has one in stock.

I am buying a GMZ unless they only have the matching steel tank in SS.

The tanks are very well worth it in my opinion. Some people cant or wont spend that much money on a tank and I have to respect that. I own three Kabuki tanks (2 stainless and 1 titanium) and they are great. I have one on each radius and one on my P3. They are a perfect compliment.

Are they better than a Nautilus tank? I have to say absolutely. I own two Nautilus tanks with the P3 threading and while they are good tanks (and still use them) they just dont compare to the performance of the Kabuki. I get better vapor production and better flavor than I do with the Nautilus tank and thats running both tanks at the same wattage too. And I am using the SAME 1.8 Nautilus coil. I have had no leaking or any issues. I had one coil that wouldnt connect properly but tossed it and the next coil was fine.

Hands down worth it.

That's how I justify having so many mods & atties, it's like spendin' the money I was smoking and having something to show for it. Crazy, but in a way it keeps me on the path, you know, the Luner's and all

Actually, you can get a 510 Kabuki (B stock) here...
Kabuki 510 - Stainless Steel (B-Stock)

Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk
My wonky CAD$ made it cheaper to buy locally. About $85USD out the door in stainless including a stainless replacement tank.

I went SS due to the fact that I really like steel tanks over glass and the SS tank didn't match the GMZ Kabuki. And I didn't see the need to drop another $20 for the GMZ version either.

First impression? Wow!
