Anyone having a sale on coils for the Kabuki now?

Im looking for the Aspire Nautilus BVC Replacement Heads 1.8ohm.
I haven't been able to find any sales going on for these, but Sweet Vapes has the best price right now, I believe, at $9.75 per pack.

ecig.com has been selling them at their regular price of $7.22 a box, but as would be expected they are going in and out of stock. Right now, they're showing out of stock. Definitely worth keeping an eye on.

My backup site is vapesupersaver.com, regular price is from $9.49 for three boxes or more up to $9.99 for a single box. Another plus for the site is that tracked shipping is free with a $20 purchase. With some other sites' shipping prices, this can make a difference pretty quickly.

I got some Kabuki vape mail today....

- GMZ steel tank
- Poly tanks x 3
- P3 to 510 adapter
- Various OMG o-rings

A few thoughts while on a boring con call.....

- The P3 to 510 adapter doesn't play nice with beauty rings on a 2.5. I believe that Zen mentioned this, but it definitely doesn't work on the 4 2.5's I tried it on. Not a big deal. Weird thing is that the adapter doesn't work at all on 2 of my 2.5's even without the ring. A bit annoying, but 510 pins can be a pain and no biggie as I have 3 2.5's being converted to P3 tops. Also, the adapter could easily get stuck on the Kabuki base. Mine did, but it came off with no issues with a bit of elbow grease.

- The poly tanks are very loose with the stock (as shipped from the factory with glass) o-rings. I used a set of o-rings the came with a SS tank and the poly tank fits great. I bought 3 poly tanks and they don't come with the thicker o-rings. Be cool if they did, but not a big thing. The tanks are thick poly and should last. Seem really solid and look like glass and I don't see any of the scratches that Zen says to expect anywhere.

- I really wanted to put the GMZ tank on my GMZ Kabuki today, but there is no way that the glass is coming away from the top white o-ring in one piece. Man, that sucker is really on there! Again, all good as I will just wait until that glass breaks (inevitable) and also try to remove it after the next refill.

- I didn't get to install any of the OMG rings, but I think the glow in the dark green set will look killer on a black or SS Kabuki on my Zombie P3.

I feel good about the fact that I have 4 great Kabukis and enough replacement parts to last me many years. I have a couple of years' supply of Nauilus coils, so I will be slowly adding to that as I see sales.

Don't want this to be a "gush fest" but I was really surprised with this atty. The only issue that I had was when my Ant mod tipped over (dang cat) on my desk and the quartz tank cracked. Since I use that mod as my daily carry, I replaced it with the stainless tank as pictured. I did also pick up another quartz tank too (for dress occasions ;)).

I always come back to ecf just before my next vape mail fest. I just ordered another ProVari, fresh AWs for everybody in my PV toolbox, several other accessories- and cant make up my mind for a new topper. I admit I must be dense. Zens website Boasts - "The Kabuki Tank bridges this gap. It's a sophisticated tank made of the highest quality materials available... 316L Surgical Steel... Fused Quartz... precision machining...." what the heck is "Fused Quartz" and why the hell does it break all the time? I own a slew of Phinac Tanks who also boast about the quality of their Quartz glass, including video reviews where some customer(presumably) stands on the glass tank, after dropping it. Not one of them have ever broken, after many drops. So If a cat "tips over a PV on a table top"....Im forced to ask what is going on here?? WHY would I buy something so fragile that customers are wanting it replaced with of all things "plastic"? Something seems very wrong. Even My IBTanked have been dropped and never cracked, or chipped or broken.
in fact over the years the only glass breakages Ive ever incurred were the absolute cheapest Asian made UDC tanks that are such junk they often dont even survive delivery. These are basically "give aways/throw aways" if you do pay for them from clearance sections you might have to part with between $10 & $20.
This reply to "gush fest" isnt a "hate fest", more of a suggestion to upgrade the quality of the design. If other tank manufacturers can put together glass you can stand on for less than the HOH costs, I must be missing something or very dense.
What ever Zen decides...please dont go to plastic!
*...looking for you fans to convince me otherwise .....
Cheers

Ironically, I believe Phiniac buys their quartz glass from HoH as factory seconds. Now does that not really make you wonder about all the flying glass around here?

 I could be mistaken but I thought Phiniac was selling glass long before Zen.

I'm sure you are right about the time they have sold glass, I mean if you were not, why post it right? The Kabuki custom tanks from Phiniac; however, are crafted from HoH quartz supplied directly to them. Woke up feeling a lil contrary did we? Ah well, hope you feel better. :)

Dude, you OK?

I unsubscribed from this thread over a month ago (I can't even remember when). I only popped in because it appeared at the top of the list. And the first thing I see is a reference to me?

Now THAT's some FUNNY :censored:.

And sorry, @Zen~. You know I'll always love ya (I was thinking about one of those belt buckles, actually), but the air in here had gotten a bit... "stale".

I'll continue to use my Kabuki's regularly though - you can count on THAT. And thank you and Stacie, for all you've done for KD & me. It is all VERY MUCH appreciated.

My issues with the thread should NOT be taken as an indication of dissatisfaction with you, or your absolutely marvelous products. I don't need a thread to find you. You're Zen, after all. ;)

Thanks for the fun, all. And a special thanks to Knife, for literally making me laugh out loud this morning.

And now, if y'all will excuse me one more time...

I purchased my GMZ Kabuki from ProVape and they came with the white buna OMGs. The only way I was able to get the top off was to insert a drip tip (used an old plastic one) into the chimney and pushed. You may want to point this toward the back of a chair or something soft because the top could go flying off — speaking from experience. ;) Once I received the black silicone OMGs I switched them out. Just a wee bit tight now and since I don’t want to force the glass I put a little daub of ejuice on the top OMG only. Bottom base no issue with silicone.

Zen, a thank you from me as well. We're still enjoying all our Kabukis every day, and as DPL said, whatever happens in this thread really does not in any way impact the way we feel about you, or your invention/innovation.

I bought one from eBay a while back but have not used it yet. It seems pretty solidly made. I bit small but a horizontal coil seems pretty easy to pull off. Here's a YT video of them doing a horizontal build and wick of it. If you start the video over they do a vertical build and wick.

I'll share my experience with it once I throw a build in it.

Edited to Add: Here's the eBay listing where I picked it up.
