Thanks! How close is Kabuki to Kayfun in terms of flavor and vapor production? I had aspire nautilus back in the dah and those coils only worked fine only 1/3rd of the time and even then the flavor wasn't very good. Maybe they are better know.
I find the experiences to be different. (from each other) , but both are quite enjoyable. I wouldn't be happy if I had to give either up.

All VERY subjective, but I find the Kayfun to be a smoother vape, while the Kabuki packs a bit more punch (for me). Both provide me with excellent flavor.

Collective indications are that if you like the Kayfun, you'll probably also enjoy the Kabuki.

Yeah I am extremely finicky too, if it was easier, I would change my Kayfun wicks twice a day.

I stopped using stock coils right after BVCs were released. I actually tried them but I was never fan of the Nautilus wicking. It only worked well when the tank is half empty. But I like to give it another try with this Kabuki.
The Kabuki blows the Nautilus out of the water, just be ready to carry a smallbottle of juice with you;) I have a bunch of 5ml bottles that pocket pretty easily...

Yeah, especially given the fact any new tanks they want to sell in Nazi America will cost Millions of dollars to put on the market.
I mentioned this fear last fall (the Kabuki is awesome... except, it's entirely dependent upon coils from China continuing to be available)

I think manufacturers are constantly releasing new products, which are better and more! and want to be able to charge more for the coils. I believe the only thing that may keep Nautilus coils on the market is because the rest of the civilized world that's in the process of moving on, can continue dumping all their old gear on the USA for at least 2 more years, and generating profit off something that would otherwise be on it's way to the trash heap.

OTOH, maybe not, perhaps the answer is: buy Triton coils (which in my humble experience are not much of an improvement).

I dunno, @ENAUD's paradigm of being on a ship pointed towards destination unknown, with supplies that need to last a long time, is pretty awesome. If anyone reading hasn't tried out the Serpent Mini RTA you might like it. I rate it a bit higher than the Goblin nano personally, and up there with Kabuki/Kayfun flavor. Also, it's easy to horde like 30 of 'em, because they're only $25 bucks.

Sigh, the Kabuki tank and decent disposable coils sure were handy for a while there. Enough posting, I'm gonna go get drunk now, happy weekend to everybody!

Just for the sake of accuracy, let's not confuse people by not differentiating between "Triton" and "Triton Mini" coils. Triton coils WILL NOT work in the Kabuki. They are far too big. That would be like trying to use Atlantis Coils in a Nautilus or Nauti Mini. On the other hand, Triton Mini coils will work in the Kabuki P3 straight out of the blister pack. If you have an original 510 Kabuki, you will need to replace the contact pin on the Triton Mini coil with the contact pin from a Nautilus coil. The pin on the Triton Mini has a slightly larger diameter and won't seat properly in the 510 Kabuki base's insulator.

Having said that, taste being subjective and all, I personally find the Nauti 1.8 coils to be FAR superior to the Triton Mini coils in both flavor and longevity. Just my two cents.

As DPL says (and I echo), the pop in coils are now our LUXURY vapes. ;)

Yup, I am a Vapocalypse vaper from here on in. It's kinda like being on a ship loaded with stuff, you know you got plenty, but you don't know how long your gonna need it or when you can ever replenish it, so you just do what you got's to do :)

Billet Box (BVC) and XVO (Nauti) for out & about, and Kayfuns at the house. Must extend the life of those O&A's!

Like Kat said, "Luxury Vapes".

And Kabukis of course.

I'm starting to feel like I went down the wrong path.:(

That depends on how many coils you can acquire. That's a lot of Kabuki's!
Yea, my little way of helping Zen when the flood happened.

I do have a little over a half of a shoe box full of coils. Trying to get it full. If I did my math right I should be good.

If not, I do have enough Kayfuns to take their place.:)

Just hope my eyes and hands will be able to rebuild a RTA in 20 or 30 years. Could always have my nurse do it then.

Someone, I think Duane, mentioned that the gaskets and insulators on the coils may dry out and become degraded over time, therefore rendering the coils useless.
So, I've taken to putting mine in a Food Saver vacuum packed bag, to remove the air.

Build them now, and store them wicked and wired! That way, when/if the time comes, all you gotta do is fill'em up and vape!
That's a lotta Kayfuns, if you do have as many as you have Kabukis...you could get away with a long time of vaping, by just rotating through 1 Kayfun until the coil goes out.
With every day use, I typically get 3-4 weeks out of a coil/wick before I feel compelled to change it out.

That's what I started with! $30/shipped to try something that cost $100 shipped? Deal!
I'm only anti-clone-counterfeit when it's being passed off as an original, and/or people saying "it works the same as the original"...cuz no clone-terfeit ever truly can.

Does them being EHPro make them any less functional? Nope!
You have them, enjoy them! The EHPro version was very close to OG, even in their early runs.
From what I understand, aside from quality of materials, they've only gotten better at mimicking the real KFL.
I DID like the dual airflow on the EHPro, I'll give them that.
SM shoulda thought of that. It doesn't make it THAT much airier, it just helps make it a smoother draw.

I know things can happen in production, and Zen will release it when its as close too perfect as he can get it. He is propably busy with other vaping projects....I have heard rumors of a top fill Kabuki.
I wish the 1st version had been top fill; especially considering how long he's been in the industry & top filling small capacity tanks has become essential.

I've seen this posted before & have never had to do this.
