Mike, before giving up, try this with the coil.
Most of us know to turn a coil counter clockwise to engage the threading. For the ReBuildable, don't worry about it being straight. Once you hear the click of the threads engaging, keep turning it anticlockwise. You will hear a second click. Almost there! One more time, and it will fully seat into the threads.
You Must do this with slight downward pressure on the base, and remove the drip tip, to have a steady tank on a solid surface.
Once you hear the third click, now turn it clockwise, The base will already have dropped far down into the tank, and only require apx. 2 turns or less to fully seat if done correctly. The compares to 12-13 turns for the Nauti Coil.
To cure the leaking and gurgling, fully fill the channels in the bottom of the rebuildable. The cotton in this rba, has to be tighter than any rba I have ever built. To the point you would think it would cause burning of the wicking material. But it just keeps on vaping!
When I first started building it, a wick would last two days. Now tightly filled, it will last two weeks or more!
Far longer than any factory coil has ever lasted me. And now no cost for coils, Regardless of what the nazi's do, the RBA Coils will keep on, keep'n on. ;-)
