Our four (collective) 510s are fine. And we'd probably have had two or four more if he had done them in GMZ or black. No complaints, because two is actually the number that I need. More would be frivolous.

And who has EVER heard of a frivolous vaper?:blush:

Four is the number I need. Two SS and two Stealth's. Two glass and two SS tanks, one for each.

That might work but would probably void your warranty.

I could just put it in polish mode which would take just a fraction of a hair off. I don't want to send it back. There was a post where someone sent it back and it came back worse. My thinking is the connection will be better if I simply sand down the bottom of the cap, thus shortening the distance between the pin and contact of the ProVari...

I also have a couple solder tanks in the lab, so could put a small bead of solder on the tip of the atties...

On another note...

I stopped into the Zen Factory Outlet Friday and got to "fondle" a brand new in the box Provari Mini in GMZ...

Pretty nice and much smaller than I imagined. I think I feel another birthday coming up ;)

Same here. Only the Ti tops it (for me). Mine gets daily use.

Does your Provi have the paper gap?

I used to run my P-thingies in 18650 and 18490 mode...till I discovered the Mini's :D most of the time I am running in 18350 mode these days and LOVING it! I really don't notice a huge difference in run time between the 18490 and 18350 batteries, which caught me by surprise.
The GMZ is a real looker too

It is very, very slight. I can just put a piece of paper in, but it really isn't a visible gap, unless I hold it at eye level up to the light...
A piece of paper, I'll get my dial caliper out and see how many thousandths I get...

1. .004"
2. .004"
3. .005"
4. .003"
5. .0035"

That's four random pieces of paper that were lying around me. A few thousandths of an inch might as well be a mile when the circuit cannot be completed.

You paid $90 for that tank, and how much for that ProVari? Don't touch it. But that's up to you, my friend, I can't really blame you.

Now that I think about it, it may not be a great idea. My hand polishing skills leave a lot to be desired. If I don't have it down exactly level, I may damage the threading...
