While I like the vape coming out of them, I'm not a fan of the build quality. What can ya do though, each to their own. I've moved the 3 I have (two P3 and a 510) to the back of my vape box to collect dust.

Just received my Mb blue version on Saturday. I'm not happy with the quality at all. The pin insulator is stripped and the threading in chimney is also messed up 1/4 of the threads at missing. If this was a cheap clone I would just pitch it but it's not.

I highly recommend contacting Zen.
From what I've seen, he is an upstanding citizen, and a great vendor. He will do right by you.
That being said, I've also got the impression that Mt. Baker will do right by you also.
So it seems that you're covered either way.

They were my original vendor for Nautilus coils, but the wording used in the description now is just vague to me...I just didn't fully trust that they were selling the new style.
I mean, it's not like they're crazy expensive, but I'd sure hate to waste the money finding out!
Old style... Tiny hole

New style... Bigger hole

I got my new glass from IBTanked. I ordered two Zen Short prism smoked glass. The color is darker than it looks but if i hold it up to a light i can see my juice level. The one tube is perfect and the other has a little over-spray on the finish. I called about it and they were more than willing to replace it. I didnt have it replace because the little bit of texture gives a little more grip when unscrewing the base.:vapor:

Over the past month I have gone though $80 worth of fuzed quarts on my Z2cartos, I dropped my device and shattered the original and been craking the replacements by putting the top cap back on after filling. IBTank clear Borosilicate glass is only $5 for clear $8 for colored and $3 shipping. They do come in a nice protective case.

Carbon, IF you've not packed it up to send back and IF it would not be too much to ask, is there any way you might post pics of these issues? I don't know a pin insulator from a rock, and would love to know how to check the threading in the chimney.

Sorry, but I'm pulling the blonde card here.

The pin insulator is the black ring around
The adjustable pin on the tank. I can't get a decent picture of the threading in the chimney. It's all chopped up. I'm sure it's just a tank that got by quality control it does suck but it has been resolved with HoH.

Good stuff here! Thanks all.

I might have to check out what IBT has (THANKS @gin828 !), since I'm historically prone to breaking stuff. With 2nd Kabuki on its way here (today or tomorrow), plus one special order glass from Phiniac (which I'd dayum well BETTER not break), it probably would be wise to keep one or two extras handy.

Haters gonna hate (stifle, Jets fans). ;)

I even talked Blondie into getting one. I can be kuite konvincing...

Hey DP...Spectrum Tanks has colored glass too...and not as expensive! Mike is a great guy, and pays a lot of attention to his customers!
By the way, glass from the Zen Atty Pro (ZAP) is the same glass for the Kabuki...which is just another example of how awesome HoH is! Most of their devices can interchange parts!

Thanks, HB. He just added some new ones in the past few days (I see). The Zenkote is for me, and that will be my backup instead. I don't mind a few extra bucks.

I can't do stainless (also a recent addition) with a 2ML tank. I'd be opening it constantly to check the levels. I need SOME visibility, but the ZK should work nicely.

Shoot the swans? Deeze lovelies?

(sorry guys, but I could not pass up on the opportunity to toss a little Babs into the mix)

Those metal tanks by Zen, particularly the GMZ, are beautiful, but like you, DPL, there is no way I can do invisibility. Even some of the darker colored glass tanks cause a degree of frustration that has to be weighed against the look.

When I got my 3rd Kabuki, I cracked the tank within 24 hours of getting it. The cat tipped it over while standing upright on my desk on an 18350 tube mod. I went out the next day and got a GMZ tank, a stainless tank, and another glass tank.

I ran it with the stainless tank for about 1 week, it really made for an indestructible device to carry at work (kind of the construction trade). I did end up running it dry once but that's not what made me switch back to quartz. I really like how it looks with the quartz tank :)

Now I just run them all with one of those rubber vape bands at the top of the tank. I've not had one crack since...
