I saw that one, but have read about the issues from their version...
Ok.

If it makes a difference, Jackie installed the P3 connector on her K4 and REALLY likes it! If I get anything with the option for P3 connector, I'm going to try it. It's way more secure. If you are thinking of swapping tanks while mobile, carry the 510 connector and beauty ring in your pocket. Which reminds me, I need to order spare connectors for the Jeep...

I've broken off cartos in tanks pocket carrying, so really want a tank with the P3 connector, but there seem to be too many issues with the attys and base. My guess is inconsistent attys, though, rather than the base...
Yeah, I hear ya. I'm real .... when it comes to going mobile...

I could be wrong, but I think the issues were with the, "old style" coils (smaller holes, different filler.) I think it had to do with the Kabuki was engineered with the,"newer style" coils and there is a microscopic difference.

Should be alright then...

I remember there being quite a lengthy discussion regarding this issue, I just can't remember where. It might have been in that P3 thread or another Kabuki one. Well, going to hop on the Xbox One now.

I wonder which style of atty Cisco is using to build their coils on- new or old...

You caught me before I left... I was thinking about that last night and decided it didn't matter to me because I don't have a Kabuki.... yet. If it was a issue, I would have the new coils to go with it. But, yeah, it would be cool if those worked because they are so kick :censored:.
You know, you could write Avid and ask. They have always gotten back with me within a day.

Its probably fine. The P3 version will probably outlast the 510 version. I maybe squeezing the coil head to hard. Creating a deformity. I have 2 so I am not going through coil heads fast. But it has happend on the last 2 in the P3 version. I may pull the pin of the coil head out a little so I don't have to use a tool.
If you pull the pin out a little, they tend to pop right back, try wrapping a little thread around the pin, like two to three wraps after pulling it out a bit, then push it back in and trim the thread close to the pin, this will work 100%. Also see the post from Zen earlier in this thread:

Read the post right after as well, good luck!

Oh, no. Now I think maybe I should get the 510 version, but ProVape doesn't sell it...

But you do know where to find them, IF you want...

I like the flexibility of the 510. I use it on everything, including my P3 threaded Ti and except for my Billet Boxes.
