I apologize for being that guy. I don't like to raise a stink about stuff. To be honest I feel like I am wasting cyber space. But this is what I have experienced with the P3 Kabuki. I am working with Provape to find this and that fix. But I can't deny what happend when I switched the coil from the P3 Kabuki to the 510 version its working perfectly. My next step is to try an aspire coil from a different box.

Hi again. I am the Canadian that broke her tank. No luck yet sourcing a replacement glass tank in Canada. In the meantime, thought I would use my drip tip but it won't come off. I have even tried with pliers, and now I've marked it up pretty good.

Are the drip tips on the MBV edition removable? Apparently, the telephone tech I spoke with at MBV couldn't remove his/hers either.

Thanks

It took me a while - twist don't pull ;) I got replacement tanks from ibtanked - their delivery to the UK is only $6 and I assume it will be the same to Canada and they deliver really quickly. I am loving my 510 Kabuki and thanks to everyone here for all the tips. I'm on my second coil - I shorted the first (I think) trying to get it out the chimney but I'm just leaving the second in there when I fill and all is going well at the moment. When it's time for a new coil I'll try giving it an extra twist so it stays in the base.

Hi, I thought I would mention that Bedazzle Tubes sells glass tanks for the Kabuki and she ships to Canada, for a reasonable price I believe. Her store is closed right now, but she will be reopening very soon. You can even get decorated tubes. Just look under the Hybrids category &then choose ZEN. Hope this helps. :)

Your next step should be to contact us (HoH) if you're having an issue. We will make it right.

Coil gate? Seriously? We've shipped a LOT of the tanks and have had less than 10 people contact with a problem and with only one exception it has been the coil has not been fully seated.

Why is this "Coil Gate"? HoH stands on the ready to fix, replace... whatever it takes to make it right if there's an issue.
Sorry Zen! No attack intended!
The "Coil-gate" thing was meant as a joke regarding the 2-3 people on this thread who have had this issue...I was being sarcastic.
My vote is still that the coils themselves are the tolerance issue. You've machines a beautiful tank here, and every time I take a drag, I still can't believe it's just a Nautilus coil. But then again it's not just a Nautilus coil...it's got your brilliant engineering behind it, sculpted with quality materials!

I understand... I didn't see the sarcasm footnote... but then again, perhaps I'm being an overly sensitive "ar-teest"... I'll curb my outrage and go back to planning my next move when Kabuki get's cloned. Such is the life of an american manufacturer.

Zen, you are allowed to be a little touchy about your creation! :) It is the best of the best plug and play tank at the moment, and I know that you took the variances of the Nautilus coils into account. I really think my issue may well be a one off, or so rare as to be insignificant statistically.

The same day turnaround on my repair, and the ability to actually reach a human being and speak with you "real time" spoke volumes to me about your level of dedication to supporting your product. Thanks for all the help sorting it out, and custom cutting my Kabuki base to reach my low center pins. I can't wait to see what you may come out with for your next atomizer design!

Good news evvery one! I think the P3 Kabuki tank is fixed. I hope so anyway. Zen helped,he said something awhile back about the coil not being fully seated on someone elses tank.It made me think about paying attention more when putting coils in mine. I have vaped 3 tanks now and no flooding. Using Aspire coils too. Thank you for every ones kindness and patience.

So, I've been extremely happy with my P3-base Kabuki since a couple days after release. I decided to order a 510 version for my SX Mini fom electronicstix. When it arrived I noticed the glass didn't look square at the bottom and recalled this from Zen:

Glass not cut square? I t surprises me, but one other person had a similar complaint and it turned out the coil was crossthreaded, causing it to look out of square, in either case, happy to fix it as well.

The top and glass were extremely hard to get off, but finally did (along with the coil). I removed the coil, re-installed in the base section, and just tried screwing the top on and off a few times. It would go on, but not smoothly, and it's difficult to get it to grab to get started in the first place. So I switched out the coil thinking maybe it had been damaged... same issue with the new coil.

I decided I'd give it go anyway and filled 'er up. The top screwed on when I got to "grab", and though it wasn't smooth I was sure I didn't cross-thread it (glass was square too). When I went to refill later on, it was again extremely hard to get the top and glass off. This has happened each time I've refilled now (3, maybe 4 times now), and this last time the top+glass just keep spinning. It's not loose, and actually still works. I'll be interested to see what happens when taking it off.

Anything I might be able to do myself to fix (chase the threads)? Other ideas? If I need to, should I contact electronicstix first or... ?

The driptip was very difficult for me to remove on my MBV Kabuki. It finally freed, but it took an enormous amount of patience and a lot of wiggling. The ENS Kabuki's tip was FAR easier for some reason.

And Zen~, I've got the opposite "problem" of "CoilGate"! I've got the original coils in both of my Kabukis, and they just won't quit!!!!! One tank has been filled 13 times.

Do you do something magical to them, too? ;)
