thanks for the info AstroTurf, now I know what to do when it comes down to it!
Hey No Prob...

I will say that while I like the Stealth finish, I am more of a Zen Coat or Nekid Metal kinda guy.

I spent about 20 minutes removing the CeraKote.

Jim

PS I did not use the fiberglass brush, I use that one on battery terminals, and the 510 pin.

They really are That Good!!!

I've had the pleasure of using the ZAP in the past, so I already know the craftsmanship is there! Pretty excited to get it in my hands. I saw Zen's post about ordering 10,000+ nautilus coils in bulk.. might need to do the same

And I didn't even get the Radius. I just want to see what the hoopla is about with the Kabuki!

Still waiting on the Radius. Gonna wait till everyone has used theirs for a month or so. Maybe by Christmas all the data will have been sorted and I can make a decision. ;)

I've come to a decision... if you have a Stealth Kabuki that delaminated prior to my warning, I will replace the damaged parts. The finish is usually not covered under my warranty, but... I feel it is my obligation to warn people, even if I didn't think about issuing the warning in advance.

So... please, take advantage of this opportunity to get your damaged units replaced.

Stealth Kabukis received for cosmetic issues will be honored until 10/25/2015, so get them to me, please!

JeannieK talks about the Kabuki at the 11:15 mark. Note there is adult language used in this podcast.

Edit. Oooo. They talk about the Radius at around 18 mark.
Good post. I've always noticed far better flavor 1 ohm+ to sub ohm. Maybe it's subjective - but I don't think so.

I actually think sub ohm could have great flavor, but you'd have to intensify the flavoring 5x. Vendors might be scared to do that, because there's so many variables (outside people buying it who don't sub ohm). We will see.

....I have never seen Cerakote do that but I am glad you could strip it off with scatch brushes and elbow grease. Usually it takes a lot of vulgar words and skilled sandblasting to salvage a piece that has been treated

I (minimum) rinse everything. But these were a quick rinse and immediate fill (what's a few drops of water?).

I didn't think it truly necessary to clean the Kabuke when it first arrived, but I'm also of the quick rinse and fill mentality. Cool watah only.

Thanks guys! I didn't clean my kayfun (not a clone) and was fine. I'm not worried about a little dust ;)
Just wanted to make sure it was ready to go. Remember the atomizers that you would have to blow out the primer before using? Forgot to do that with my first vape ever. Blech!

YUCKOID on the ole primer!!! How could they DO that to us!!!

Zen, that's smashingly cool of you. I mean, that is truly wonderful!

For me as well, Turfy! Nope, not another Kabuke, nor a Radi, but a mod that was ordered nearly FOUR months ago, and one that traveled some 25,664 miles. I wonder if I can get some frequent mod miles for it......

And now my Kabukii both have pretty bottoms* holding them. :D
