I've had my 510 since they first hit the shelves in June and it still needs the wrench but my 2 Z2's are nice and easy.
But......................................................The 510's are typically tighter... long story... won't be telling it any time soon.
I broke my original tank after cleaning my kabuki, broke it trying to get it on before i got to use it. Zen heard about it and graciously sent me a new tank. In the meantime i ordered some replacement tanks from spectrum tanks. Their tank went on like butter on hot toast with the original o rings. Spectrum sent new orings with there tank but i did not change them. When Zens tank arrived i tried it, it was somewhat harder to get off and on when adding juice. Put the Stectrum tank back on and back to being very easy, no leakage with either tank. The orings from spectrum look thinner than the original ones, but i have not tried them. Maybe the Spectrum glass has a tab bigger inner diameter . I seems to work easier.Out of my 4 Kabuki 510's, two require a rubber stip on the base to open, tho not too much force needed. The other two open perfectly. I think alot has to do with o-rings, juice lubrication & who knows what else.![]()
I agree, I think the Spectrum tubes are slightly larger and they also aren't quartz like Zen's (I have one too). That's why I think it's good to have lots of different o-rings, in different thicknesses. Glass, especially quartz, can vary a bit in ID I believe, even if it's supposed to be the same size.I broke my original tank after cleaning my kabuki, broke it trying to get it on before i got to use it. oh wow...I love this one! Anyone know a place selling this one anywhere in Europe (EU/UK) ?
I found the kit on a couple of sites - pre order, only. I couldn't find the coils, separately. Perhaps @Zen~ will know?Anyone seen this yet?
Aspire Odyssey mini kit(aspire triton mini and aspire Pegasus mini) | Godvaping.com
Mini Triton coils that will fit the Nautilus/Kabuki! 1.8ohm Clapton and 1.2 ohm kanthal. Really interested in this if it's real.
Great news!!!The Triton Tank has better flavor than the Nautilus... however... in all taste tests so far the Kabuki has beat out the Triton.
That being said, The Mini Triton coils should fit the Kabuki, although I have not been able to get my hands on them yet... however... I had prototype test coils that eventually became the Triton Mini... and they will provide a great deal of benefit for our Kabuki users that use it on mechanical mods with the 1.2Ω coils. The 1.8 will be the best one for regulated folks, and I have not had a sample with the clapton coil yet. I'm trying to get them now, but so far, hasn't happened.
For the TC crowd I'm sure the TC coil will be tested by many in the future, time will tell.
The best news in this, that I was aware of but not allowed to reveal... this means more options for Kabuki users... when people were worried about the nautilus coil being discontinued, Aspire has broadened the options even further.
Rumors have been circulating since last week about a rebuildable Nautilus setup in the near future as well.
I have not been able to confirm who the builder is, but I saw a picture today. And here are some details... this is all I know about it. VVTF E Cigarette Vaping Hardware - Vaping, Vapor, Throat Hit, Flavor
Since I use mainly DX350 Mechanical devices with my Kabuki's I'm certainly looking forward to trying the 1.2 ohm Kanthal Coils, thanks for the heads upWhen comparing the Aspire tanks... The Triton Tank has better flavor than the Nautilus Tank... however... in all taste tests so far the Kabuki has beat out the Triton, even though the Triton beats the Nautilus... the Triton also KILLS the Atlantis and Atlantis 2. But not the Kabuki.
