Work vapes. :)
Really enjoying the 1.8 clapton at 14-15w, so much so that I haven't even tried out the 1.2 ohm mini coils yet! lol
Looks really nice on the Dani Extreme(?). I've never tried Claptons - perhaps now would be a good time ;)

That's the one, it's the v2+ with the self-adjusting pin.
The kabuki suits it nicely. :)
The clapton was nice... gave me a warm/hot vape which I enjoy.
Changed it out to break in one of the 1.2 ohm coils now. Quite interestingly the 1.2 has a higher recommended wattage range on it than the clapton did, not sure how that works. lol

Are these the Triton Mini coils you're referring to? Are they available yet? If so, where?

Correct, I ordered them straight from Aspire's online store.

edit: take note in previous posts it was mentioned these coils don't fit without some fiddling.

Thanks! I actually bought her a Stealth Kabuki from ProVape the night before to take advantage of their Black Friday sale before they ran out of stock. Cyber Monday I go to HOH's website to pick up spare parts and there it is. Damn! :-x Well, I figured I could use a spare in the cigar caddy out in the Jeep... ;)
Nice spare :D

That's fine...

Lets focus on reassembly.

Lube orings, and test fit the tank in both directions on one of the orings. Take note of how it feels on either oring.

Make the tank placement choice based on an equal amount of resistance on the orings.

By doing this you will ensure the tightest fit of the orings to the tank.

Jim

I did everything you said, but still really poor flavour, I really really not understand.

Thank was clean, i used again a new coil, have used the glass in both ways, no result.

Have slowly raised the wattege and did slowly break in the coil.

Tried all wattages from 6 til 15, tried it on all my mods, tried all different airflow settings,
I'm getting to the point I am hopeless.

I am really thinking there is something wrong with it, and not with the coils.

Since it was same with the coil it came with and with coils from a new packedge.

I have no idea now what to do anymore..

In a stunning development, the USPS overperformed and I received the Aspire Triton Mini coils today instead of the projected Monday date.

Other than the actual dimension of the shell, they are larger in every way over the Nautilus. The center pin is larger as is the hole in that pin More concerning is that the inside diameter of the coil is also larger and that may not be good for me since I like a tight draw.

I should be emptying a Kabuki sometime today and will post some photos then. Just to round the bases, I'll throw in some VaporWerks coils just for comparison.

Stay tuned.

I've been reading your posts and feel for you, have you tried the coils in a Nautilus base just to compare? Another suggestion, maybe try a narrower bore drip tip? or a wider bore? Could you have vapers tongue? I hope you get this sorted out, good luck.

Many thanks for feeling for me!

I forgot to mention indeed I also tried different drip tips.

Unfortunatly I sold my Nauti mini so I have no other atty's that can take these cois.

Honestly I do suffer a bit from vapers tonque, but I can assure the lack of flavour in the Kabuki has to do with something else as well.

My other atty's really taste better and I can feel, taste, smell somehting in the Kabuki is holding back the flavour.

I wish I could offer you more...

But at this point, I just don't know?

Some would say that's impossible without 65 or more watts. . . .

Warning! Should you post this impression outside of the ProVape forum there's a good chance you will be told that you don't know what you like.

Very sad, but also very true. . . . :(
