Hello everyone, Just got through 229 pages, glad that's over! I'm about to pull the trigger on a p3 provari and a p3 Kabuki from provape. I'm currently using a provari mini with Ibtank and smok cartos, but they are getting hard to find. I also use a Sophia, and love how it performs, but have grown tired of rebuilding it. Is there anyone using a Sophia that can comment on the differences in flavor between the Sophia and Kabuki? Is there one you prefer? One last question, I really like the looks of the classic provari but it doesn't have boost and wonder how that will work with the Kabuki and if I should just get the p3? Thanks in advance!

I have a P3 Kabuki and several V1 Sophias. I was using the Sophias exclusively before getting a Kabuki. The only reason I got the Kabuki is because of the hype here. As far as flavor goes, both are about equal or very close, IMO. I like both of them. I rarely have to rebuild the coils on my Sophias, maybe once every 3 months or so. I do change out the cotton wicks and torch the coils more often, usually every couple of weeks.

Can't comment on getting a classic or P3. I have the Radius and I'm not using boost with the Kabuki and it's just fine for me.

Thanks for the reply! I've got the Sophia dialed in pretty good but after dropping it a few times its hard to keep it working without screwing with it. I set it aside and started using the huge stash of cartos I had and that has been what I've used for the last year. I'm currently on my last carto so something is getting ordered tonight. If boost isn't something most are using I may just get the classic.

If it was me I'd get one of the P3 blems they're only $10 more than the classic, you get the boost + the 20w. You'll find them on the specials page. I just got a black blem and can't tell what the blem is! :)

Are you guys using the boost with the Kabuki? I really like the looks of the classic, but don't want to miss out on anything new...lol. Think I'll go for the p3 satin silver and Kabuki then send back my mini and have them switch the top out. Last call before I pull the trigger and thanks again for the help everyone!

I use my Kabuki's with a P3 and love it! I use the boost with HH rebuilds and old style coils but not with the new style cotton ones due to the cotton getting singed. YMMV. Play with it and maybe your cotton will be ok due to other factors other than mine, especially with only 1B (1/4 of a second).

If you like being able to swap out batteries at a moments notice, don't have a need to go over 20 watts, like tube mods, like the option of having a Boost function, BOTH VV & VW and having a modern menu, than the P3 is for you, my friend...

The boost you could live without easily, its a nice to have but even with it.. Right now i am vaping on
A couple of radiuses at 11w with boost and kabukis
A 2.5 with the kabuki

And frankly they are all delightful, you should be very happy :)

The p3 connector is a big difference and generally seems less fiddly and not as prone to coil pickiness as the 510 so i would go with the p3. Way more significant than boost in my opinion :)

Saltwater, just a note from a 2.5 user. I love the Kabook on it at 4.2v. No boost, no P3, no nuttin! Just pure and simple and extraordinary vape.

Just found a great deal on Coils for the Kabuki 9 x 5 packs of Aspire Nautilus 1.8 ohm coils for $60.77 / €57 delivered from Fastwow using code Christmas20 one time use 20% off :)
Great price for us Europeans !

Since they sell both (authentic and non), is that price for the authi?

They are advertised as Original Aspire , I have ordered and used them before with no issues !
The only difference I found is that the writing on the Box is written in Chinese !

Thanks. We'll likely do some research - and I appreciate the tip!

Where do you set your Airflow ?
Just cleaning out the Vape Stash / Stocktaking when I came across the little wrench,I have always had the airflow open a couple of turns, but just screwed it all the way in !
Finding the flavour is much much better !
I keep the head of the screw flush with the exterior of the base. I am a lung hitter so I like much airflow. I inhale as much vapor and as deep into my lungs as humanly possible, like it's the last breath I will ever take.

Thanks for that was quite concerned reading that !
Anyway scratched off the security number on one of my chinese packs and the number was verified as a genuine aspire product !
46940851894070395256 is the number I entered
I have had the magnifying glass out and can see no difference between the Chinese Coils and the ones I purchased from Creme de Vape in UK
They vape the same as the UK bought ones !
At a loss really as my experience does not match the experience of others on POTV !

So interesting thing... It may very well be user error as hubs takes care of the buying/paying for the most part - because I love buying things but HATE the paying part. I tried to buy coils from FT - when I got to the payment part and put my cc in it grayed out the cc option and only had paypal and bitpay (I think that was the word). The cc I wanted to use is MasterCard - not visa. Does this mean they don't take MC? Didn't try another one. FT freaks me out so I normally just add a bunch of crap to the cart and hubs handles it from there...I was trying to be sneaky for Christmas. Heh, should'a known better.

@MsLoud FT is weird about Aspire products, you can buy almost anything in the store with CC and paypall...just not Aspire products...so the Nauti coils in the basket prevented you from using the CC.
If you want to buy Aspire products you have to pay for them with Bitcoin or with a gift certificate.
To get the latter you either have to buy something else and cancel immediatly to receive a refund in the form of a gift certificate, which you can than use to buy nauti coils.
The other way to get a gift certificate is to go to their mobile site, and go to the "gift certificates" under your account menu where you can outright buy them.
