What happens when you refill?

You get an extra half-mil of juice.

That's about it. :D

Yep - thats about it. No leaks. Sometimes I overfill and it gurgles for about the first 2 drags but after that - nada. I look at it as priming :) Besides, to me, its easier screwing the base to the coil than the coil to the chimney...

You're not describing a Triton Mini Coil...

So I've been testing the Triton Mini coils in a P3 Kabuki this past two weeks...

I VASTLY prefer the nautilus BVC coil... I do not care for the flavor of the Triton Clapton OR the Kanthal 1.2... nope... not at all.
Thanks...

Thanks Guy's!

My wife and I have been vap'n in wally's world for years. Never a problem.

A few weeks ago, We were approached by the night manager??? (??? Because he wouldn't identify himself) along with a rather LARGE stock-man.. without so much as a please don't vape here, he offered to have us physically, by force, escorted out of the building physically. ( With my wife using a walker, and me using a cane!) which was totally uncalled for, as we had already offered to leave in peace.

I ask him if it was posted "No Vaping" at the door, as in Texas,it in not considered smoking, and is perfectly legal in public.

He told us that it was "HIS Store" and he didn't give a da** what the law was, that it was his store, and he would do what ever he wanted. Period.

We Left. Thank God he didn't have his muscle touch my wife. This is Texas, you never know what you're gonna get when you grab somebody.

You Don't Grab my Disabled Wife!, She is Very fragile. I am not. I'm 6'1", 245lb's, and well armed. (Ex-Leo). And grabbing some one in Texas, is a Felony, unless the person is committing a felony themselves. If you do, it is either going to be ruled Assault and Battery, or effecting an arrest.

The Actual manager and I had a long talk the following week. It's been taken care of!

I was told that No Electronic Cig's sign wold be posted the next day.
Nope, Still NO STINKIN SIGN!

Thanks for sharing!

Your so right! It from money "I" Paid in. Now with that said, where do your bat's come from? And before you tell me that they aren't available made in the U.S., are you aware that the U.S. had every opportunity to purchase the mines that the Chinese now own that produce the needed lithium?

And what mods do you own? any from out side the U.S.? Humm?

The only store to shop of much of anything out in the middle of Texas where I live is Wally-World. The King of Counterfeiters. But they do it in a very sneaky way. Much of their inventory is fake. they get away with it by threatening companies that they will no longer do business with them, unless they go along.

The Pair of jeans for instance, marked with a top brand name, and given style name, are usually NOT the same jeans you would find at a department store. Only the label is the same. Not the material, nor the quality. sure you save 3-4 dollars. But in truth, the Department store version is 4-5 times the quality. The same with electronics, All clothing, tires, cutlery, you name it. And worse of all, Food!!!

It's a HUGE scam. And John Q. Public has bought it hook, line and sinker.
In electronics for instance, many times the manufactures ssn, will have a different set of numbers at the first, separating it from the same modes sold at say, Office Supply Stores. One is made in America, and one in China. One is repaireable, and one only replaceable if repair is needed. Yet Both carry the same Model Number and Name. Legal counter fitting. Plain and simple.

At least in this case, we can make our own decision, and not simply be the unwitting dupes of marketing and slip shod business practices!

Actually, the only mods we own are all ProVari's. Between the two of us, we have three V2's and two P3's.

We do what we can...

Hope you all had a very merry Christmas kabuki-folk!
I cracked my first Kabuki tank a few days ago. Right when i was filling it up before I left town on the 24th, I noticed it was cracked and seeping a little juice. So, I left the Kabuki at home and put another tank on my Radius. When I arrived back home last night, I put the cracked Kabuki back on my Radius. It still vapes pretty good. I went ahead and ordered two replacement tubes from ProVape last night, because I know I can't keep using a cracked tank forever. I am tempted to get a couple of replacement tubes from IBTanked. I had good luck with their carto tanks. I don't recall ever breaking one of those even though I am sure I must of dropped them a few times. Anyone have experience with the IBTanked replacement tubes for the Kabuki?
I use the IBTanks - they are a little looser with the stock kabuki o-rings but fit perfectly with IBTank's 19mm o-rings . (They also have really good shipping rates if outside the US)

Dratz! I was really hoping the new coils would be better. Just for quality control purposes if nothing else. Tired of buying bunk Naut bvc.
Some people have said on other threads they prefer the triton coils so probably worth a go to see how you feel? (Always amazes me how experiences can differ so much with exactly the same coils/ equipment). I am really happy with the standard nautis, the triton were pretty similar to me and I haven't bothered trying the kanthal triton yet. I shall continue to vape the standard as they are cheaper but would also be happy to vape triton if nothing else was available.

It's been six months for me with the Kabuki. In that time, I've had one coil get stuck, and one coil get cross threaded into the chimney. The cross threaded one worked for a couple more fills, but then got really stuck good, should have tossed it right away. I can't really say I've seen much of a variance in how these things perform, coil after coil, after coil.
About the same for me - no dud coils yet, all vape the same and last for ages. I do get the coils stuck in the chimney regularly with my 510 (never with the P3) but I just carry on filling & vaping with it stuck in there. :)

Good Man!!!

My wife and I have Three ProVari's. Two 2.5's and the new Radius.
We've been at this for a long time now. Our first was the now defunct ProSmoker. Nice unit for a mechanical. Didn't care for the smaller battery though. Same length as the 18650, but smaller in dia. I can't remember what it was called, It did fit the Surefire flashlights though.

I may start doing that. What I meant with my question was when you unscrew to refill, does the base come off without the coil, or do you have to re-screw the coil in before refilling?

I leave the base empty and fill it to the brim. As ML said, sometimes it gurgles for a vape or three, but then it's gone and fine. IF it doesn't fire, for whatever reason, you can always undo and re-screw it into the base, but that hasn't happened to me yet.

I wish it would stick all the time, because that extra 1/2 ml is 25% more than usual. A good deal.

My coil stays in the chimney. I find if I leave the tank on the counter - sitting flat - then it is easier to get the base to screw back on. Once it starts screwing down on the coil past the oring - then you can pick up the tank and finish screwing on the base. I only tighten the base to when it stops - dont torque it down.

My third coil got stuck and cross threaded into the chimney after using it for 28 days. Was just going to refill and found I couldn't get it out. Had to use pliers and it damaged the coil so I had to use a new one. Otherwise, I think I could have used it a couple more refills before getting any burnt or off taste.

I dream of my coils getting stuck in the chimney!!!

It's happened only rarely for me, but it's one hell of an exciting moment when it does! 25% more vliquid is 25% more vliquid! (please don't yell at us, Zen) ;)

Triton coils are on sale at MFS right now for about 8 bucks a 5 pack.

I ordered both non-TC styles.

Have had horrible luck with nautilus coils.

Was not very impressed with VaporWerks coils. I'll say they were better then Aspire but not by much.

Tried the VS TC coils in Kabuki on a DNA 40. Was pretty nice. TC isn't really my thing but it worked very well. They reduce the cloud enormously which I didn't like. A tootle puffer should prolly try them as they are well suited to that style of vaping. I quit using them as my DNA's work better with different tanks. Kabuki's work well enough on Provari's.

I've had/have real and clone Kabuki's and by look or vape couldn't tell them apart for 1 million dollars. Only by looking at the 510 screw can I tell them apart.

I spent today, and yesterday and tomorrow, making product for Walmart and every other store. Its all the same stuff. If order picker A stops to gossip with OP B and OP C gets to the product first has more to do with what store it goes to then some conspiracy. We don't do it where I work but some chains will do "special buys" of stuff and they will get a special SKU so other chains can't price match it but all national chains do that not just Walmart. I tell folks that ask me where to buy our product to buy where its cheapest cause I get paid the same wherever it goes.

I screw the coils into the chimney on purpose to get more just. I have to go way up in nic to get anything of Kabukis so flavor isn't a concern. At 12mg all juice tastes nasty to me. I'm just after the reduced cloud.

In my opinion, there is no way on Gods green earth that the vaporwerx coil is better than the Aspire coil. Not for flavor, or vapor production, or longevity... I really didn't care for them one bit. The Flavor basically doesn't exist.

I haven't been able to follow the thread, so I'm not sure anybody noticed this... a small batch of Gun Metal Kabukis are up on sale at ProVape ;)
But I can't buy a matching ProVari P3.
