HI :)

A little question about MAINTENANCE ....?

How do you guys CLEAN the bottom part of the Kabuki ie. the base+the airflow holes & HOW OFTEN ?

My juices are usually sweet dessert flavors, higher VG (50/50 & 30/70 ) and after a while I get the impression that my airflow holes are getting pretty blocked.Airflow seems to steadily decrease...

I change my coils very frequently-every 3 days usually- and just give a "general quick rinse" under the tap + wipe with paper towel
(no flavor probs since I keep several setups going at once = each setup usually has the same juice or a very similar one)

What do you do ?

I haven't been able to follow the thread, so I'm not sure anybody noticed this... a small batch of Gun Metal Kabukis are up on sale at ProVape ;)

Yes, sure DID notice that ... ;)

Been wanting one for a long time to go with my Zenkote GM P3 which is my fave of all my P3's ;) .....

But it would come to about 250$ for us EURO-residents

...and as much as I want it & it ...I think that's just too exaggerated an amount to pay for a tank :( ....

Any chance of their ever coming to Creme de Vape UK or another Euro-store...?

..or to a US store that ships regular USPS instead of only via Courier services ?

(I buy a lot of stuff from the US but can only do so from stores that ship via USPS First Class intl. or USPS Priority, both are Track & Signed to my destination and considerably cheaper ;)....?)

I have had my kabuki and radius since the radius came out. It is always wet when i take the kabuki off to fill it. Not a lot but there is always juice on radius and on the kabuki. I have changed coils 4 or 5 times. I do not over tighten coil in base or putting base back on chimney part. I wipe it down each time I refill, bit it always comes back. I love this thing its just annoying. Any ideas?

I used to have that ALOT on my Mini-Nauti's...almost every single time actually !!

But TBH it hardly ever happens now with my Kabuki 510's and NEVER HAPPENS AT ALL with the P3 version !

....do you have the P3 one ?
(I really noticed a huge difference as far as that goes with the P3 tank :) )

alongo (one of two here), I'd suggest snugging down the coil into the base quite a bit more. Zen has recommended making sure that the coil is tight tight, not just finger tight (like most of what we've learned to do over the years).

Hmmm..well dunno what to say then ?

Sorry I dont have any suggestions for you,Ive never had that with the P3 Kabukis.

Hopefully someone will have some tips for you (not very handy and not a tinker-er so unfortunately I cant be much help :( ).

I tighten my coils as tight as I can-not so hard so as to have probs unscrewing them though- and, like I said,it never happened to mesince I got the P3 version !

Hey all,
Mostly a lurker, but I do have a Kabuki related question. I have provari 2.5 GMZ. Thinking about a Kabuki 510 for it. Also thinking about getting a radius, which means I'm thinking about getting a kabuki P3 instead. My budget is such that I can't get both right now, but I getting my self a one year vape-a-versary gift.
So my question (finally) is:

What is it that I hear about flattop 2.5s? The 2.5s are a great deal right now, so if I could get a P3 topped 2.5, I would get that and the P3 Kabuki GMZ while they last. (Really want the radius, but that will still be there in a few months.)

Also, a more general Kabuki question for y'all: the Naut mini and the kanger SubTankmini are the tanks that got me to quit. I use the kanger (or drip) most of the time around 1.2 to 1.6 under 15w. I can almost enjoy the Naut mini, but the draw is too tight and the flavor too muted. I'm hoping the Kabuki will fall in between the two tanks (better vapor, flavor and airflow than the nautilus, have similar air to a closed up SubTank mini and maybe sip a little less juice). Is this a reasonable expectation or is the Kabuki pretty similar to a nautilus mini, but better?
The 510 Kabuki gave a new lease on life to my original 2.5. It looks and works great with a Kayfun trim ring. The 510 will also work on other devices. I recently ordered a 2.5 Mini with a P3 top and a Kabuki P3. The P3 connector is wayyyyy better and still works with other tanks. The deal ProVape has on 2.5's is too hard to pass on. Lets see, $45 to get a 2.5 coverted to a P3 or $90 for a new 2.5/P3. Like I said, it was too good to pass up. The 2.5 flat top and the Kabuki are a match made in Vape Heaven. The 2.5 has more the power a Kabuki was designed to use. I think the Kabuki blows the Nautilus out of the water for flavor, airflow and overall quality.

I find it is the draw on the coil that tightens up as the coil is used, not the airflow.

I pay it no mind as long as the flavor is good.

I just rinse them with water, now and then, as far as cleaning goes.

I vape unflavoured and a coil lasts at least a month (1 fill a day min.). I just give a quick rinse and wipe when it's time to swap coils.

I get the same with my P3 (not loads just a drop or two) but I'm sure zen said a bit of condensation is normal so I just give it a wipe, refill and carry on.

What you are seeing is condensation, Zen designed the P3 Kabuki with this very thing in mind, it is perfectly normal. I always have a tiny drop of condensed e-liquid on my center pin and on the base of the coil. This has been discussed several times in this thread already.
NOW, the condensation in the P3 connection area is actually on purpose... all tank attys have condensation, and most handle the issue by having a condensate tank in the airflow chamber... this generally leads to a build-up of condensation in the air chamber that eventually leads to gurgling. Personally, I hate gurgling... and once I realized that area in the P3 connector was sealed and liquid-tight, it occurred to me to let the condensation land there, out of the airflow where it will never gurgle... added bonus is that is is easily cleaned out, unlike the nautilus and others. This has made the P3 Kabuki become my favorite all-day vape!

If juice, tighten your coil more or replace coil.

If condensate, clean occasionally.

Just had my first dry hit.... been loving this thing. I just refilled, going on day 3 with this coil. Anyone else getting dry hits? Hate to trash the coil as it was working great but it's like a dirty sock now. Do they not wick as good once used a few days? Dry hit or not its still the best thing I've had in a while.
Specs?

Voltage/wattage? PG/VG Ratio? Mouth to lung airflow? Device?

Well I'll be...
Just changed coils, the third in the blister pack...
This one doesn't thread in the chimney.
I'm at home so I'll use up the fresh tank...but dang I have to be careful, the whole thing wants to come apart.

I'll change to another new coil then unless someone has a remedy
