I hate having stuff lying around that doesnt get used, you know?

sent from my Galaxy Note 5

I am that way. If I'm not going to use something --- I don't like owning ANYTHING I don't use a lot, not just vape gear.

We all smoked differently it would seem to me would all vape differently.

Somebody who smoked a pack of Virginia Slims a day is gonna vape different from someone who smoked a few packs a day of Seneca full flavors.

I love that vaping now includes everyone. I'm super happy for myself that vaping has reached a level that it work for me and my heavy smoking friends.

And I'm happy for everyone else too. That's why it's hard for me to see when people come down hard on people who vape different.

As to training to subohm?? I guess it could be done but for me and the people I know as heavy smokers we just vape the way we smoked. I'm not saying you couldn't be "trained" but for me I used to smoke and now I vape. I didn't change anything. At the moment I'm hitting a Steam Engine at 50w and it feels about the same as the 1970's when I started smoking.

lol...me ? take pics ?
I can't do that - my coworker shoots my pics for me.

However...they are Nautilus coils and from 3 reputable places.
No way to tell where this particular box came from as I put all the boxes in a giant baggie for storage upon arrival.

They are the 2nd and 3rd from a blister pack...not starting from a new pack.

I keep telling myself that I am going to get the ZNA and GMZ Kabuki set up with that beautiful carved tank...and what do I do - I keep forgetting and just refilling. It's gonna look great once I do tho !

Most of my vape bands I use turned inside out so they are just color instead of writing...except the "Just Vape It" one :) I don't place them on the glass either.

Waiting for my kabuki 510 to arrive. Sounds like i might need a metal tank from what i am reading. I have a few nautilus tanks, and also from what i read their coils will fit in my kabuki?

The poly tanks that HoH sells for the Kabuki work really well - and let you see your e-liquid level. I did buy some o-rings though because the poly tank was slightly more loose than the glass tank. YMMV.

Have you tried the plastic tank yet?

Good to see you by the way!

Jim

Whats this plastic you speak of?

I cant do plastic.

For one, I can taste it.

I dont drink my scotch out of plastic for the same reason :)

Or beer from an aluminum can.

And two, a lot of the juices I use are tank crackers.

And nice to see you as well :)

Im gonna look into the stainless steel and zencoated replacement tanks offered by HoH for my 'Buki.

Its not as if refilling is a problem with these.

And stainless steel, like glass, isnt typically chemically reactive.

Let me know if you need a temporary glass tank...

I absolutely LOVE the Kabuki.

My only complaint would be with the glass. Ive broken it twice now. I wish it was possible to offer a thicker annealed pyrex for klutzes like me.

I have two Kabukis (p3s) and so far no glass tank breakages. It could be for the following reason:

I have never ever separated the steel top of the tank from the glass, right from when I first unpackaged. So when I take it apart to wash it, I end up with three pieces: The drip tip, the steel top with glass attached, and the steel base where the coil screws in. I see no point in separating out the glass tank from its steel cover. It cleans up well enough with the two still attached. So I avoid pulling and pushing the steel top, rubber seals and all, onto or off the glass directly. The steel base is screwed in onto the glass by virtue of the threading on the coil itself. And I am very cautious about making sure I don't over-tighten.

I don't get how so many of you are breaking the glass. I've had mine on my p3 fall out of my pocket onto a concrete floor and out of my truck onto asphalt. Haven't Brocken the glass yet. I wonder if it has something to do with the 510 version itself.

I do indeed do the sucking thing with the air hole covered quite vigorously and often watch a bubble or two rise. But I still have to let it sit overnight. Somebody here on ECF said you have to take it very slowly with higher VG juices with the Nauti coils.

Most of my juices are high VG & in 2 yrs I have not ever let it sit overnight. With the Nauti coils I add a drop of juice directly on the coil before inserting it & that's that!

Some of the stuff people claim you have to do is overkill.

*and before someone suggests vape bands, youre not actually supposed to put them on the glass because if you drop it the vibration can still cause it to shatter. Vape bands are supposed to go on the metal, plastic, delrin, top and bottoms of tanks....and theres no room for that on the Kabuki...or my Lemo either for that matter because it covers the air holes.
I didn't know vape bands had to be strategically placed. I leave mine where they look best.

Mine is also the 510 version. It's taken a few death defying falls to hardwood floor and didn't break. It probably will now that I've posted this. [emoji12]

The more I see D'Elegance, the more I love D'Elegance. But I know me. I'd be checking vliquid levels ever 17 minutes.

I have a few 510 Kabukes, and no glass breakage at this point. I've used them normally, cleaned them, and changed the glass tubes often. I'm curious how or why the 510 would differ glass-wise from the P3.

My Liquid is 70% vg, and never let it sit more than 2 minutes. Usually less. Never had a burn taste yet.:)
