=KnifeThat's all I usually do as well. I only do the liquid pull when I really jonesing for a vape right NOW!!!
too cheap to risk a new coil. LOL!!!I didn't know vape bands had to be strategically placed. I leave mine where they look best.
Note 5!!!
I can't recall if it was Kat or Classie who said they turn the bands inside out to hide the brand. I damn near smacked myself in the head cause it never occurred to me to do that. [emoji14]Lol they dont.
But if you want to use them to prevent the glass from breaking, they need to be in right place.
Some people just like the way they look, and some like to advertise their brand(s).
I'm more practical in that regard I suppose.
See, this rii here is why I am not a fan of prebuilt coils. Having to care about how much juice I can get thru a coil before needing a new one would give me a migraine!Well, wish me luck.
I'm going to try to get 30mls through a new style, 1.8 cotton coil. Just filled my 6th tank. With the old style, I can only get 15mls of quality vape and would grab a new one starting my 6th tank.

help please...
So, all these replacement heads that I have that won't "fit" in the Kabuki...I am guessing that they would still work in a Nautilus or a mini Nautilus ? (and where would I get one ? )
I've had a P3 Kabuki for about a month and finally broke the original tank. I didn't drop it. The only thing I can think of is that maybe I tightened it too much when I refilled. These quartz tanks are simply not fit for purpose, they are too fragile. That should be obvious by all the complaints here. I've been vaping 4 subtank mini's for a year now and have yet to break one of those tanks. The more I see D'Elegance, the more I love D'Elegance. But I know me. I'd be checking vliquid levels ever 17 minutes.
I have a few 510 Kabukes, and no glass breakage at this point. I've used them normally, cleaned them, and changed the glass tubes often. I'm curious how or why the 510 would differ glass-wise from the P3.
Zen?
Knife, I checked the ProVape site and they don't have them. Did you mean HoH? Yes they have them but they specifically mention that they don't ship overseas. The main stockists of HoH products in the UK is Creme de Vape, who used to stock them when they first hit the market. Since i buy a lot from them, I might just ask them if they could ask HoH to throw one into the next shipment of Kabuki tanks they send over just as a special order for me. The worst that could happen is they would say no.Can Provape not ship to you? They have them.

This is what I do with Nauti coils for any VG level juice: I drip two drops into each of the 4 holes around the coil. I then drip two drops into the top of the coil. Subsequent drags taken (after waiting way too long) dries up any gurgling. I cover the airhole and suck until no more bubbles. Then I let stand. And for 70 VG, its many hours and so I just wait till the next morning. Most of my juices are high VG & in 2 yrs I have not ever let it sit overnight. With the Nauti coils I add a drop of juice directly on the coil before inserting it & that's that!
Some of the stuff people claim you have to do is overkill.
Note 5!!!
I'm puzzled as to what could be causing this problem. Never had a dry hit. even after a minute on a new coil. This is what I do with Nauti coils for any VG level juice: I drip two drops into each of the 4 holes around the coil. Wish I had your touch.
BTW what on earth does "Note 5!!!" mean?

Note 5 = Samsung Galaxy Note 5 ... Some of my post say i6S+ ... iPhone 6S Plus. [emoji41] [emoji6]

No, I didn't know that. But surely that would dilute the flavour?Ya know you can always thin you thicker liquids with only a drop or two of distilled water right ?
(just checking...)
When I mix, first thing I do is thin out my VG to where I want it

Well, THAT is useful info. Thanks for the tip.Not that you would notice...really - just a drop or two is all it takes
Thanks for the link. It goes into great detail on the Quartz vs Steel vs Polycarb, and explains why Zen was dragged, kicking and screaming into the PC option. Which is a non-starter for me because I use a number of tank cracking juices. As is the steel option because I go through juice too fast and would be burning up coils. For those of you who are wary about breaking the Kabuki's quartz glass tank, I have discovered that HoH can supply polycarbonate tanks. I'm in the UK and bought my Kabukis from HoH's main UK stockists, Creme de Vape, an excellent company who describes the poly tank thus:
House of Hybrids Kabuki Polycarbonate Tank
Polycarbonate tank section for the House of Hybrids 510 Kabuki and P3 Kabuki tank atomisers.
The description below is copied from House of Hybrids' own site:
So from the start, let us get something perfectly clear... Zen~ hates polycarbonate tanks. He positively despises them. And for good reason. Many juices can cause them to crack and the material is a bit of a bear to work with in an automated environment.
The material shows up, at our shop door, pre-scratched. It's plastic. It scratches. The suppliers of the material do the best they can to prevent it, but it is unavoidable. Everything in the universe is harder than the surface of this particular polycarbonate. Dust scratches it. Tissue paper scratches it. The universe hates it as much as Zen~ does. Did we mention it scratches easily?
SO... in spite of the fact that it easily scratches, it is EXTREMELY tough if you drop it. It bounces instead of shatters. Thicker versions of this stuff... actually bullet-proof. It's insane... it can stop a speeding bullet like the chest of Superman... yet... ANYTHING can scratch it. Boggles the mind. ANYWAY... Zen~ hates it because he thinks YOU... the consumer should deserve something that looks better, you know, like fused quartz, or stainless steel, for example. But stainless steel isn't invisible, and Fused quartz breaks when you drop it.
And people seem to want Polycarbonate tanks. Zen~ has refused to make them in the past, but he's getting older, and more tolerant with age. We talked him into doing a test run, which he has done... reluctantly... kicking and screaming... cursing the entire time... he may have even invented a new profane word... Is "nuttafingah" a word? We don't know... but he said it when explaining how to handle these things without adding even more scratches. SO... Zen~ has insisted on the following disclaimer, to be posted here, without alteration, his words... not ours...
"These Poly Tanks scratch easily. I didn't want to make them, they made me do it, but I positively guarantee that every last one of these is scratched, and I'm not apologizing because I didn't want to make them in the first place."
The funny thing is... They look OK to us. Nothing is perfect, right? Obviously, they cannot be returned for finish defects, as they start out life pre-scratched for Zen's amusement.
Apologies to both HoH and CdV for reproducing their material here.
