Yes, And with the adapter you can use the TM coils.

Though, people should really start refusing to buy 510 stuff so the market will evolve into something better.

Seriously??? It'll be a cold day in hell before I stop buying 510 stuff. I could care less what others think is so superior. Cause honestly, dropping $300 on a Radius/Kabuki did not improve my vape.

P3 connections are not the standard & for as long as it's been out, to only be able to count on one hand how many devices actually support it, I dont see 510 going away unless it's in a very long distant future.

If the market is to evolve it needs to keep putting out better stuff point blank period. Dont blame the 510 for lack of evolution.

Note 5!!!

Neither P3 nor the Z2 is a standard, they are both STAND ALONE formats. Even the two cannot agree on one format or the other, so why should the consumer take the hit on buying in to one or the other, without any guarantee of future compatibility? Now I will say...I do love the P3 connection with my Kabuki. It is rock solid, buttery smooth, and engages nicely. I really love it.
Sadly I cannot comment on the Z2 threading. I would really like to see the industry move away from the 510, I despise that connector, but with the market being dominated by an obsolete under strength standard, and no cohesion between even the two MFG.'s that I am aware of that offer something different, taking such a strong stand is akin to Don Quixote fighting a windmill... It just doesn't inspire confidence on any reasonable level to a consumer for any possible success...

Duane, I completely forgot about the Z2- probably because I dont come across much talk about it. I can't say I despise the 510 connector mainly due to the fact that everything I have is 510 for the exception of the Radius & none of my devices have failed me in the 2.5 yrs I've been vaping.

{IMO} The manufacturers need to get off their collectives behinds & do something to PUSH innovation. It's great they wanna make something new but where's the promotion of that new product? Hidden within forums- Ok, we know about it but what about folks who don't do forums? Whose only experience to vaping is a B&M?

"guarantee of future compatibility"..... :headbang: Preach!!!!!

Dropping the Kabuki 510 connection only is taking it away from anyone but Provi owners. And not all available ProVari devices have a P3 top. I'm a big fan of the P3 connnector but its not an industry standard by any means. Luckily the P3 device connector also accepts a 510. Remember the Aspire Nautilus P3? Briefly sold but quickly discontinued while the Nautilus 510's continue to be available. Dropping the Kabuki 510 really limits its compatibility. But it is a stand against status quo. Good Luck.

As is often the case, the market will determine the results. I respect Zen's decision to discontinue the line, but I were his CEO, I'd advise against it.

I moved away from 808 because there was so much more available for 510. If the market moves into a better direction, I'll be happy to follow. But I'll continue to buy things that I can move from device to device, with little or no effort. Today, that means 510.

Tomorrow? Only The Shadow (and maybe Zen) knows.

To the free market! Long may it wave. :toast:

The conversation came about when the Kabuki clone showed up on FT. I get it - it's a clone. But to do away with the 510 seems a bit ridiculous. Zens choice of course - but certainly promotes the sale of the clone...which is why I bought 2 handfuls. :D

There are niche mods and atties - as long as there are vapers then this will be the case - fine - but why do you think ProVape made sure any of there designs are 510 compatible? Because that is the standard. They didn't say - "To hell with maximizing sales and exposure - we will only offer our P3 connection! LET THEM EAT CAKE!".

No , they made a 510 device that also could be used in P3 mode ;)

Probably a good idea for P3 connection device owners to have a supply of extra rings on hand, just in case, as I learned from my own experience with "locked ring syndrome".

OK, I can't seem to stay away from the Pro Vape site and I was looking at the Mini Gold Zencote. It's really cheap and if I order today I can get another $5 off.

I couldnt resist such a good price and picked up one of the Blem Gold Zenkote 2.5's on sale for 49 $ :)

It arrived really quickly in two days to LV but...since Im not THERE.... ;)....havent had the opportunity to look at it yet.
That's ok though,Im sure it's just fine and for that PRICE cant go wrong ;) !!!!

Id say GO FOR IT :) !!!

And of course I DID go for it. Thanks to all of you who helped me out with good information.

I'm with you on the price. I was really convinced I was finished shopping after the Radius earlier in the week, but when you can get a brand new Provari for the price of an inaccurate, inconsistent, possibly unreliable China mod there's not much downside.

I'm also wondering if Pro Vape has changed its shopping cart software. I tried using the old "over order" trick to check stock levels, but it was going to allow me to buy 200 of the 2.5 Gold Zencote. I guess they might have that many in stock but it doesn't seem likely to me.

Did I read Zen's post correctly, that the Triton coils work in the Kabuki P3?
If so, I may have just found my perfect atomizer...because there is a rebuildable deck version of the Triton, and if it fits the Kabuki...well...I already said it! It's perfect!
I'll slap my 1.1 ohm ... cotton build in there and be in 7th Heaven!

I believe he indicated the Triton Mini coils - not the Triton coils.
