And thank god(s) that if the FDA sponsored tyranny actually comes to pass there are many a good rta's out there these days. I always hold out the hope that Zen will pop in here one day and say he has a fully functional RKabuki deck that does not require a scanning electron microscope and the patience of a Saint to build. That's assuming there are no Aspire coils to be had of course, I'll still take a replaceable coil over a rta any day of the week. Oh, excellent find on the MV3+ btw!

Yeah, I got a brick of PT2 heads last week, and have dozens of drippers on hand. RSST's, got about eight of them, and four ZAP atties, a whole bunch of Kafuns, a half dozen Russians, I don't know how many bottom fed atties I have for my REOs mods, I have two OG Kabuki's, they are are a convenience item to me, to be used in the good times. Bad times seem to be looming, so they get a lot less use now, and that re-build deck, why bother with it when it's so much easier to re-build a Russian that vapes pretty darned good anyways. No crying over spilled milk, it is what it is. The fat lady hasn't sung yet but she's waiting in the wings ready...I really really really wanted it to work and I spent lots of time and was super patient with these things.
I just don't see it as a realistic long term fix to Nauti prebuilts potentially becoming unavailable OR as a way to save money.
If someone enjoys stress and breaking things, buy a bunch of these.
Lastly, the quality isn't there. Even if it was a dream to coil/wick and they vaped perfectly, I really wouldn't expect these to withstand months/years of rebuilding. Things like the top coil end having to be cut between tank facing threads, the terrible flat head screw that is supposed to hold the bottom coil leg secure, etc., just not a quality piece IMO. Too bad as it would be a godsend if it worked flawlessly.

The small have usually been stomped upon by the wealthy and the powerful, it's just the way of the world. I'd rather be the one they are trying to stomp on than being a king in an ivory castle. Hell has plenty of room for evil doers, they will wind up where they belong in the end, none of my business. Just tryin' to keep on keepin' on, like I've always done. More things change the more the more they stay the same. Seems like I've lived my life on the wrong side of things most of the time, and I've gotten by just fine like that. Think I'll have a nice vape and then go off to sleepy time. Another day, another day, time just keeps on slippin' by. Sun comes up and goes on back down. Just livin' life the way I please...

I guess there's a rear for every seat. I find the rebuildable to be fairly easy, and gives an excellent vape when done up in a vertical coil. Once the tricks are learned, I can do a twisted 28 ga. coil at .55 ohm, and wick it in well under 10 minutes.
Since the twisted coils last so long, it only takes a couple of minutes to re wick it. The trick is to have the KGD fairly thick in the liquid wells.
There is a trick to the wicking as well. I will help anyone with it if they wish.
Once done correctly, the draw is more open than the Triton Mini, and way more loose than the Nauti coil. It is actually a pleasant direct lung vape.
