My wife hits a nautilus like Cheech and Chong on a .... You get the idea.;) I get a week out of a coil at least and she might get 2 days. My 100 coil stash ain't gonna last even a year.

If the coils were around $0.50 like I think they should be, I would buy 1000. I can't justify buying a few grand worth of coils. Too hard to click order now even under $2 each. YMMV...:)
Yeah, I'm getting maybe four days on them if I use them heavy. I just tried cleaning one again, rinsed it out, vodka soak, another rinse and let it dry. I got one tank through it before I pulled it apart, the wire was caked up and the cotton pads were black.

I can get about a month out of my PT2 heads by re-wicking them at every other fill, and dry burning the coils. So they always taste good, and cost nothing to run. Nauti coils are, and have pretty much always been a convenience item for me for times when I desire a practically zero maintenance setup.

LOL, yeah, but when you only filling nooks and crannies in a freezer, it's just easier to buy the smaller bottles. That, and I really don't care about the price at the current rates, a 120ml bottle lasts me about 9 months. That's less than ten cents per day :D

Got it! And understood completely. We all have our paths, and we must remain true...

I am excited that my wife is totally happy with the draw/flavor of the KFL+ clone. We agreed she (and I) would use rebuildable tanks mostly around the house but Kabukis (for me) and Mini Triton/Nauti tanks (for her) when out and about.

Not really ALL about the $$$, but more about not being to lazy to rewick/recoil when required.

New to the nicotine buying frenzy, but should have at least 8 liters by Aug 8. Hope I'm close to having enough. Three vapers to supply with that amount...

As a general rule of thumb, I always say:
Whatever you think is "enough"...double it.

Nobody will EVER find room to complain about being too prepared.
And anyone who does, isn't happy unless they're complaining...so their vote doesn't count! Hahahahaha!

Yeah, well, I'm not buying 16 liters.

That could get pricy indeed.

I'm just a worry-wart.
I have this little voice in my head, driving me to buy stuff to keep in my hoard.
I counted 22 boxes of Nauti coils today.
Yet my brain keeps saying "buy more".

Yeah, I know. I have 40 Kabuki screws. But that means I, and Jackie (between the two of us), can lose only one a year. Should I buy more?

Is there any actual evidence that Nautilus coils won't be available in the next few years? With all of this talk about hoarding coils, I feel like I've missed some big news or something.

Nope.

But given the potential, since the FDA might not be whacked down, people aren't taking chances.

I am one of those people. Worst case? I save money for a few years.

If congress grows a spine or we get a President who believes government should not be involved in our day to day lives, the chances of a continued coil supply are not out of the question. If not, the dogs of the FDA will be set loose on the industry and that will be that for over-the-counter Vaping.

I just don't see hardware being tough to get a hold of, even in a worst case scenario. Hardware regulation seems like such an obvious government overreach that I can't imagine it actually becoming a reality.

Or...maybe I've got my rose-colored glasses on today.

I didn't mean to turn this into a sub-thread on the VVTF. I came here re: the VVTF because my interest using it w/ a Kabuki not a Nauty tank. Seems I'm surely not alone w/ the frustration of getting it built and to vape decently.

On the plus side  I did get a prompt reply from Tntu (the Ebay seller). In my message I had told him I couldn't get it threaded even w/ the tank removed. o_O

"Many people have tried on it, no problem with it.
Pls try again, remove the glass and try, add some oil, make it straight to screw in this is very very important, cuz the screw thread have high and low two sides"

Yeah, I got this to try it out, and after about 5 minutes arrived at the conclusion that if this was all that's available, I'd be back to smoking cigs. Way too frustrating, annoying, time consuming ... I just don't see the point, get some real RTA's which work a lot better, while they're available. If you're totally broke, then buy a bunch of Kayfun clones off Fasttech, and you'll be much, much, MUCH better off than this thing.

This. I have 0 doubt hardware will always be available, there isn't a lack of any drug on Earth that has ever been banned, on the black and grey markets, so I'm sure we'll be able to get the latest and greatest from countries which are not being regulated back into the stone ages, like China for instance ;-)

Worst case scenario: well, I've got a lot of nice hardware that I like using. And the total effect any insane nicotine tax they slap onto everything that's left on the market, will have exactly 0 impact on my life.
