But it would be nice to try (1) one just for grins and giggles. Wonder if/where you can buy one at?
Triton mini coils fit perfectly on my kabukis.I bought 10 packs of the triton mini coils , they always read 1.7 for me on my p3/kabuki setup. Much better vape and they seem to last a day or 2 longer and produce a little more vapor at my usual 9watts than the bvc coils. Nautilus coils usually read 1.8-1.9 for me.IDK, The Triton coils work for me on every Kabuki tank that I have, except for one, which I guess was a 1.0 instead of a 1.5 version, which I sent back to HOH and they sent me a new one. The Triton coils are a bit different, I tried them, then ended up stocking up on the BVC coils for Vapocalypse.
I just found that the Serpent mini tank was a lot more usable if being super-portable and compact + being able to run claptons or whatever else, on an easy to build deck, was important. They're like $15 from China. On the Kabuki my experience was the same as @GeekyGeezer, high VG juice just fries the Tritons pretty fast and it's not an awesome combination. With high PG/low VG, on the Kabuki, the BVC coils Just Work, much better.
Opinions are subjective, your milage may vary, some settling does occur during shipping, the package is half-full, not half-empty, think positive thoughts, and all that ;-)
G'day DaveVERY nice, Phil. Who CARES about the Kabuki, just by the way. Grab yourself a "Whatever" tank and focus on the important things.
Congrats, ENJOY, and cheers!![]()
G'day Peter. Yes I was Very concerned for a few days, but I managed to lower my stress levels overall and just went with the flow for the remainder of the tripHe is, can't you tell???
Hiya Kat. I've missed your posts/humour.LOL! Blokey found a TOP chick! (what does that MEAN?)
Welcome back, and hope your tank troubles are like soooooooooo yesterday.
I can only imagine mateI did a google search for "top chicks".
As E would say " I went down a rabbit hole".
And it was good.![]()
We Are!You're all warped !
As I managed to get home without needing to get a replacement glass for my kabuki I have just been searching up options.
Locally here in AUS is a genuine for $25 + shipping ...which I obviously baulked at.
So just placed an order for a 5 pack for $11 AUS delivered from fasttech![]()
Went into my local shop today and asked the young lady behind the counter to relay a request to the owner, who is a pretty cool guy. I simply asked if he would special order a full brick of Nautilus coils for me at a special, best deal price. Even said I would pre-pay for them, but that I do know the wholesale cost and want him to make a profit, and that this is a sale that otherwise wouldn't happen. I'm really curious as to what the answer will be, and either way, it's no skin off my back either way. If he hits my pre determined mark, he will have a sale. If not, then that will be that. It's fun to dicker a deal sometimes, just for fun...
You'll keep us posted, I Sherlock? Just ...... for fun.![]()
I did the same a few months ago but forgot to follow up.Went into my local shop today and asked the young lady behind the counter to relay a request to the owner, who is a pretty cool guy. From what I have read / been told 5$ a box they are loosing money on the sale = loss leader, something sold at cost or slightly below to get you in the door and hope you buy other things. 7$ = they ain't making much...pennies on the dollar, only viable for high traffic large volume low overhead internet shop. I'd be happy if he says 8-9$ per box, I might even bite at 10...no taxI did the same a few months ago but forgot to follow up.
Be interesting to see if they are as cheap by the "crate" (24 boxes?) as the $5-6/box sales we have seen previously. I doubt there is a ton of margin in these coils in the $5-7 range. Even FT is just under $8.
I have managed to find Aspire (and Kanger) coils for $5-ish, but never in big quantities. I just want to grab 20-40 boxes for my wife and be done with it.

Yeah, what he said. They have sales on of top of that also. Not sure if you were aware, but the regular price at ecig.com is $7.22 and shipping would be free at the level you're talking about. No tax, either.
I have no connection to them but they've been my standby for coils.
I've bought from them many times. I have lots of coils, just wanting to add to my cushion and try to throw some business to a local shop I have come to like. Plus I am moving shortly so it may be difficult for me to get age verification without giving out a photo selfie whatever with official ID in it. Not going there to buy vape things. Not sure if you were aware, but the regular price at ecig.com is $7.22 and shipping would be free at the level you're talking about. No tax, either.
