I have to say, Gin, that I've never heard you so polite and genteel. LOL.
For me, the boost did cause the coil/wicks to get "sour" faster. So, I don't use boost with the Kabuki and Aspire coils.
Yeah, well, my O2 intake is a little low...

Thanks for chiming in. I don't think using Boost with the new style BVC's is prudent.

Boost, I do not use this function with the regular Nautilus coils, when I am using the triton mini claptons, boost is a nice feature. In the end I can take or leave this boost function. But then, vanilla, the French kind, is my favorite ice cream :)

I concur.

No boost for me.
Yeah, ya know, I find that when I do use the Boost (again, never on cotton), it just takes the need away for priming.
Thank you everyone for replying to my inquiry. It sure is neat to have a place we can discuss these sort of things.

RB, one of our late lamented members either bought, or tried, a Ti p3 and ended up not getting, or getting rid of it. Can't remember which.

Didn't make a difference to him. He liked the weight of the standard better.

Welp, the reality is that he never bought one. He held one at his vape shop, but the weight of a regular SS never was an issue to him. So he's stuck with SS vari's. That's the answer.

I went through the whole is it worth it thing with the Ti Mini.

When that one came out, I spent a long time trying to get past the rather small weight difference between it and the standard Mini.

I decided to get one based on it being a limited edition, and the p3 capability; plus I liked the way it looked. Remember, this was the send off for the iconic 2.5.. we were calling it the 2.75 for awhile there.

This was before ProVari was offering the p3 option on the standard 2.5.

I ordered a second one before the postman made it back to the P.O..

And why the p3 Ti was a no brainer for me.

I now have Six, between the Ti Mini and the p3 Ti.

That's how much I like them.

The weight difference is relatively small; but the moment of inertia, the overall feeling of lightness is remarkable.

It really is not something that can be explained by looking at the numbers.

This is why we say (only half-jokingly) it's magical.

The addition of a Ti Kabuki just amplifies the effect.

Now. I will not make recommendations because of the expense. Everybody has to make their own determination as to whether it is worth it or not to them.

Nobody needs a Ti p3 and Ti Kp3 to stay off the cigs.

But everything in life makes a difference.

Case in point directly related: I noticed one of my Ti minis was ever-so-slightly heavier than the other. The difference in weight by the numbers?

.04oz.

Not much, but noticable to me.

The human body is amazing that way. Such a finely tuned instrument, even when we're old and out of shape.

So, would you notice a difference? No idea.

I imagine he wouldn't care for the Ti kabook either.

Different strokes, etc, etc.. and I will add that a Ti kabook is noticable on a Radius as well. It basically feels like there is no atty on there at all compared to a standard K.
Thanks for your comments. Frankly, they were almost mystical.
The damned USPS is late. The P3 Ti should have arrived yesterday. Just a few moments ago, the tracking was updated saying something about a delay and now expected tomorrow.
So, I get to do the touchy feely in the morning, and then let the Zen in me pull out my credit card for the Ti Kabuki or not.

Ti Kabuki is 20-25 grams less than the stainless and GMZ -- roughly 3/4 of one ounce.

The satin/frosted finish is part of it's charm besides the bit lighter weight.
Thanks.
It looked different from what I could tell in the pics. I like charm.

You are welcome.

Well, a good deal of the process of vaping is subjective. Everyone ends up coming to their own conclusions as to what works for them and what doesn't. That includes the hardware. Makes it hard to say, "Oh, you have to get that!". I hope you enjoy your Ti p3.

I think we are all aware of how much the rituals of smoking were an important part of the process for many.

Not so much the same when it comes to vaping.

The rituals are still important.

But then you know that... it is very evident from
the time and care you take creating your vapes. Very inspiring.

Oh that I do (and suspect we ALL do). Lovin' the rituals.

(mine are changing batts and tips, filling tanks, choosing jewelry.)

Simple, me.

Riiiiight. And to anyone that believes that, I have a nice bridge in Brooklyn to sell them. ;)

I believe he sold his P3 to a friend when he realized how much he liked his Radii.
