Thanx for the answer. But now I'm really cornfused!!??!!

In another thread someone said if a topper didn't work on ego threading take some small tweezers and pull the center pin down a little.

Moral...I guess...no vape/power => push center pin up => still no vape/power => pull center pin down???

Two parts to the connection, the battery and the topper. If the battery pin is down, it needs to be released to come up. If the topper pin is up, it needs to be pulled down. Wax on, wax off. Upper lowers, battery raises. They meet in the middle, connection. Vaping terminology is confusing at first. Battery pin up, topper pin down. All you need to remember. Good luck!

Since my vaping adventures (so far) have only included eGo-C => Spinner => ITaste VV (whose battery pins don't move) I was cornfusing your original "battery pin" suggestion with a "topper pin" suggestion.

Still pretty new to all this.

Been vaping on the iTaste VV 3 for about two weeks now. I upgrade from the twist and I really am enjoying it. I have had to pull the center pin up after I tried using my new protank II with it and got a major "non" reading. Other than that it has been pretty great, button rattling and all. :vapor:

those center pins are a beeeeeeeeach! with the ptanks, try unloosening them a hair before messing with the center pin. i had that problem for a while, but figured it out eventually.

How did you pull the center pin up?

@Bill's Magic Vapor suggested "To loosen, run a toothpick around the center pin, and it will often loosen and "lift."

When I tried that the center pin doesn't move at all (and that's why I thought it was fixed in place).

I just ran one of my mini tools around the edges and lifted it a bit, not sure if they are fixed or even should be or not. Yet after that i tried my tank again and its reading and now functioning.

Ive been hearing alot of hype on the new Itaste vv v.3, just wondering what ppl here's thoughts on it?

I will get a VV some day, but I just want to have all the Innokin mods that they make :) I know I am weird like that
I have a iTaste 134, MVP, VTR, and the SVD. I want to get the VV, Leo, and the EP. But wanting and getting them is another story, there's just so many shiny new things I want :(

Thanks Sambuca. I ordered myself another one and one for my daughter. The coupon code for shipping worked. You're the best.

breaking news on innokin! not really but:

if you have a v3 already, so you don't need a charger cord, check this out(i have 4 cords, so i'm good. if you only have 1, you might want another). v3's @ $25.95. no cheap free shipping ($99) and i haven't found any coupon codes...yet. shipping isn't bad, USPS First Class Shipping with tracking only $2.95 to all 50 states! (i think they have the cords for 5 bucks

Joye eGo Rechargeable Batteries

now, if you want the Innokin iTaste MVP V2.0, kit mind you, $39.99 and cheap shipping:

Innokin iTaste MVP V2.0 - 101 Vape

i just these this week, the MVP was posted in MBV thread. good deals! :vapor:

I bought the I taste vv from desertvapes but it looks different than any other pictures i see online. It is variable voltage and wattage, as well as having the micro USB port on the bottom so it is definitely version 3. But it has silver pins surrounding the power button. Anyone seen one line this?

I've had my iTaste vv 3 for about 3 months and love it. I got a different micro cable for it cuz' I didn't like the retractable one that came with it for use as a pass-thru. Now I'm a happy vaporer and have 6ft to move around. I love the features of the iTaste vv 3 and have just purchased the MVD 2.0 which I love also. Really love the quality of these items. So far, so good.

:?:

i don't like those confounded cables either, what did you get?

Sambuca, mine does not have the extra pins I got one pin opposite of the power button and that is it on mine
maybe there are different verisons of the 3.0

i have 4 that i bought previously, they are like yours. i don't care about the extra pins. i just care that it was 26 bucks! i may get a few more as i don't like having to switch out clearos.

just reach and vape...reach and vape! :vapor:

true true- as long as it turns one and does what it supposed to do - who cares how many pins are on it

I have one and while I have to say I absolutley love the device, I had a problem with the shipper. I bought mine off Fasttech and they sent me the model that comes with a pen cap instead. They wouldn't return it because they said it was still the itaste vv3. Is there an attachment that can add ego threading to something like that?

You need a 510-eGo adapter like this:

510-eGo adapter

The pen cap is a neat feature if you use the stuff that fits under it, otherwise it's still a V3. The adapter will make it a little longer than the dual threaded one but it saves you from fighting with the spring loaded pin that is in that style.

The V3 can't be beat (yet) for size and features! At work (12 hour shifts), I use the V3 in my pocket and the MVP in my lunch box. If the V3 needs a charge, I can use the cable to charge it from the MVP, or just grab the MVP and use it. I Love it!
