i notice you carry smoktech cartos, so I thought you might also carry these things.

Can you get them and what might you charge? It looks like a good solution for the amazing self destructing ego battery. (I've already killed two that overheated)

Oh I've seen lots of them, It's just they just usually cost 80+ dollars and are either weird looking boxes that look like drug paraphernalia, are the size of a flipping flashlight, or both.

If these things could be had for 30-40 bucks a crack it would be cheaper than an ego kit both in the initial cost and long term battery replacement.

if they can be had for a reasonable price it could be useful.

I have given up on the ego (Tornado) style batteries. I have gone through a half dozen which have either simply died or had to throw into a sand bucket which I fortunately keep in my garage because they start smoking and getting blazingly hot.

I have also lost 3 Rivas due to the crappy switch. It gets to be expensive (anywhere from $15-$25, depending on source). I ordered an Icon because I wanted a small unit with a decent battery for using when I am out and about. The 14500's can be had for a few bucks shipped from Deal Extreme. Lithium batteries will fail.

I have a bunch of other PV's that I like: Screwdriver MKII, DSE 905 (not had any issues with mine, but I had to repair mine after I broke the top part off in my pocket. Tricky repair because of the small wires, so it's a unit that stays in my office), Buzz, and an Indulgence. My ProVari is in transit!

Since I have had such a wretched experience with Vaprlife with their crappy products, snotty attitude, and poor service, the Icon was my only real choice, the Icon was my only real option. Did not like the look of any of the other units available on the US market.

Curious to see this guy and how big it is.

What batteries will it take?

LOL that would totally save me time and multiple screws from busting while trying to take apart my current bad Ego Battery. This is no longer to see if it can be modded. This has become an all out war with the damn battery winning.
As much as i love my roughstack (redecorated to a much simpler fashion), I like having an Ego battery on hand in case of emergency or a smoker friend wanting to try vaping. Having one with replaceable batteries would be much more cost effective on the consumer. It would also be easier for my husband to vape at work having batteries like that.

hmm. good question. Right now we only have kits coming in but I've got to do another order so just tubes and caps is a great idea! Thanks :)

Hope you laid in a good stock of spare batteries also :)
It looks to be a great idea, but spare batteries are a must for me, should be a hot seller.

I think I'll look at the stock and next week when I place my order I may throw in 5 or 6 batts. I'm sure they will last longer then any 6 eGo batterys. I average about 2 batteries in 5 months and my Mother and wife use the same. This product is going to be hot!

I did have a idea after you mentioned the separate selling of tops. I am a fan of auto batteries in situations where I need both hands, like driving.

I have noticed that while a lot of mini cigs are quite unpopular because of low vapor quality, the new ones do have one big advantage: reliable and useful automatic batteries. Automatic batteries suck because the automatic switch tends to get clogged.
A battery with a removable top would allow for an accessible, and consequently cleanable automatic switch. This could b a real boon, since it would remove one of the main reasons people dump automatic batteries, and the option to use either a manual or automatic top could be awesome. Also iirc there are no decent sized automatic batteries. I do not know what makes the new micro mini batteries more reliable, but I understand there are two kinds of switches. The newer more reliable batteries have a larger hole than the old ones and tend to have either gaskets or crenelations around the hole to trap fluid and keep it from fouling the switch. Perhaps the people at smok could whip something up.
