I've only purchased Flavourart oils but have noticed that some from other suppliers have oil in it, amongst other stuff like alcohol.

What's your favorite supplier for flavors and has anyone tried Perfumers Apprentice and liked them?

I purchased some Wiltons Oil based candy flavoring from the local WM and well, after just one use they all burnt the cartomizer (I have the KR808) Personally for ME, this is a horrible idea. Let me know if you have another type of device that the oils do OK with, I'm not burning up any more carts when I don't have too.

I LOVE a LOT of PA flavors and one day when I decide to quit browsing and PIF'ing then I will post reviews. (Pear and Plum are pretty subtle, Clove is STRONG but very much like the cig, and blueberry tastes, to me, like a delicious blueberry muffin) don't care much for the tobacco Blend ALC. The CremeDe Menthe is one of my FAVS from them. I like several of DATsvapor flavors also. (don't recommend the grape from Dats however because it's thick, colored like ink and taste kind of like the grape kool-aid powder) LOVE his Watermelon though. Depends on what kind of flavors you like really and as for the PA flavors, nearly all of them we mix at 10% (our first time we did 20% "we didn't know any better" and it was WAY tooooo strong) Sorry, did I mention I ramble a lot....and sorry if I kill your thread (I tend to do that lately)
Datsvapor is premix, not flavor...though he'd probably sale just the flavor if you asked....don't quote me on this, but he wants his customers happy.

Ramble on all you want it's all good info :)

I have NOT used any flavors with oil in it yet and don't think I want to.
I understand about them clogging atty's too.

Well, sounds like PA may be a good supplier so will give them a try.
Not sure yet what flavors I really like, there's an art form to doing this well and I am very green around the gills still.

Thanks for your input :)

IF you haven't looked at Scubadatdan's profile look for posts by him I'm pretty sure you will find ALL you could possible want to know about PA from his posts. He is actually Linda at PA's beta tester and helps develop the flavors. From my understanding, Linda also just purchased a PV herself so she can begin tasting flavors. There is also a drop down of reviews on some of the flavors on her actual page. I don't know if you are interested, but I have read many good things about her Mary Jane flavor too. (YES IT IS ONLY the flavor) ALSO IF you place an order, you can choose to put in the comment section up to 3 flavor samples of a select group of "trial" flavors...She just wants feedback on those to know if she should make them into permanent flavors.

Ya see. There you go again with great info!!
Now I gotta wonder, WHY make marry Jane flavor without all the yummy stuff in it!!!! :D

I shall go check all this out.
Do the bottles of flavors say anything about the ingredients?
I take it they have no oils?

I have used LorAnn and like them.

https://www.lorannoils.com/c-6-super-strength-flavors-candy-oils.aspx

They pack a serious punch so I would recomend that you dont exceed 12 or 13% in you mix unless you have tried a small batch first. In fact, for some flavors, like Watermelon, 6% tastse much better than 12%.

The nice thing about Lorann is that you can buy directly from them and there is no minimum order amount. That and they have been around forever.

She lists ingredients on the site, not added to the bottle though. IF she has oils I haven't gotten any yet...She may have a couple, but as you will see on the site, it will tell you what's in it.
IF you don't have a good calculator for the DIY, since you said you are still really "green" Dans is a good one...it is a little tricky to get used to AT FIRST, then it is just priceless, IMO....NO, I am not friends with either of them and have nothing to gain, this is just my personal opinion and experience and I'm still pretty green myself.

I've gone ahead and ordered 8 flavors so we shall see how it goes.
Great prices too, went for the 15ml bottles as they are only 3-4 bucks each!

Thanks again :)

I sincerely hope you enjoy them as much as I do. Agreed, great pricing. Always glad to help someone and IF you find that it's not your preferred taste, you can always visit the PIF thread and look for the chance to try something else and offer your flavors in either the DIY PIF or regular PIF thread...IF you haven't checked out that group here yet, it's a GREAT way to exchange things....I know there is a FS or FT thread here too so you can always find someone interested in trading you.

Once again, hope you enjoy! Hope to see an update later with results :) ;) hint hint...
