Travel and Vaping Anyone carrying an e-Power while traveling by airline?

Don't get me wrong. I love my little box mods but they look like home made detonators. I could use Rivas but I want more battery life.

There was a thread on this before and there was mixed responses. Some had good luck with box mods, Rivas, etc. and others didn't want to risk it.

we took two epower 14650's with us to mexico last month with no issues.

They will probably ask a lot of questions about what it is, but run it through the scanner thing they should see it's just a giant battery, and the nicotine liquid inside is legal (though I guess you can't prove it easily)... I really don't see why there should be any issues.

If you have business cards from vendors stick them in the baggies holding your juice. Adds some credence to your explanation that it's ecig stuff.

Only problem I ever had was with my reo. Guy said the atty looked like an antennae. They swabbed it down, put swabs into a machine, and gave it back to me. Guess they can detect chemicals associated with explosives and my reo came out clean.

Thank you all for the replies. Don't worry, burnsy. I never vape on the plane but I want to carry one on board so I'll have it with me without getting hassled.

Look guys don't make this too difficult! Its NOT illegal to carry e-cigs and supplies through TSA ( But there are rouge TSA agents with their own agenda).
Now if you want extra scrutiny, carry a chuck, box mod, large batt ect... but all they will do is ask what it is and do a swab.
I usually carry a e-cig that looks professionally made, E-go, Janty Stick etc... without scrutiny. If you agree to vape on a plane or not is another discussion of which there are many discussions here.
