Anyone do a clearomizer with LED mod?

I took an old ce2 carto and put the guts in a 3ml syringe body. Its been working well and no leaks after 24 hours and 2 fills.

Just wondering if anyone has tried to add an LED inside the tank, or if it would draw too much current to use it on an eGo batt.

Well, couldn't find a tutorial or instructions so I McGuyvered one together

Well, it was tight, but it works! The pole is slightly banana shaped and it took some work getting the rubber cap back on the atty, but it really lights up and it's the same vape as before the LED mod.

I'm going to order some miniature LEDs and install one at the bottom...

There is a link posted above for Stormy's Vapor Cellar. Get ahold of her...her user ID is CloudBurst. She can tell you how to do it. She doesn't put them in the tube mods but I have one of them that she did do it to. However, she does put them in her tank mods.

For the best results you should sand the LED's lens, this way its light will go in every direction You can use even the 5mm LED, turning it into a small package with sanding

Cathode to the thread, anode to the resistor (let's say - 200ohm) and the resistor to the central post of the clearomizer.

Did you have to insulate the cathode or anode/resistor? Seems to me that having both uninsulated in a conductive liquid would cause a bit of a problem.

Yep, if you would put something like 500V in it - then yes, it would a problem

ya, it obviously works (unlike my brain at 8am). from your pics it looks like you sanded down the LED to get it to fit, what size of LED did you use? I'm planning on using a 3mm.

3mm LED gets in as it is (5mm one does not), without sanding. But... it's worth of sanding - 'cause the original LED has lens, which makes it lighting only in one direction. Sanding it down makes it glowing in all directions

that purple Haze is great. if i could figure out what utak3r said on how to do it i would make one but i have no clue how or what a cathode is lol.
