I'd rather chain vape than go back up to a stronger juice. I know 3mg isn't really cutting it so I just ordered a few more 6mg bottles. But I'm still gonna chain vape the hell out of my 3mg lol.

Assuming they're the same flavor, try mixing equal parts of your 3mg and 6mg juices, which will give you 4.5mg. It'll probably make your transition to 3mg a lot smoother.

They're not the same. I just ordered more 6 anyway. I'm pretty happy I'm even at 6mg to be honest. Mixing in 3 at all is something I didn't expect to come as easily as it has. I rarely order the same flavors. I'm not really picky so I experiment a lot.

Okay so I just took your advice and mixed in some 6mg watermelon rancher with my 3mg strawberry lemonade, and it's the best combination EVER! LOL I've been trying to kill off this watermelon forever.

I think its more a perception thing. I know I would smoke 1 cigarette at a time, Several puffs on 1 or 2 sticks for a few minute every hour or so. VS With Vaping, I do a puff or 2 randomly. I don't know if I am using more nicotine than when smoking. I am using about 40-60mg of nic a day now, which by the way is the same amount I was using when I started Vaping, Last year. The difference is that I am now no longer, smoking. I may do the activity more often, but I don't think I'm using more Nic.

Regardless of how much I vape, the cravings aren't as present as I've seen in my smoking counterparts. For instance, on our last camping trip, 2 of my friends could not go more than 2 hours without smoking. One of them actually brought along 4 packs, for a 2 day trip.
I on the other hand was so distracted by how enjoyable and relaxing the trip was, that I completely forgot about vaping. No cravings whatsoever.

Just an fyi for you newer vapers out there trying to kick the 'logs to the curb but also lower their nicotine amount in their juice...always keep a higher nic juice on hand just in case you get that craving for a 'log. Its nice to have so you can puff on some higher nic juice to take the edge off. Might help you to keep away from the stinkies!

I vape so that I don't smoke, nor want to smoke. If ever I feel that desire for that sensation, whether smoking or vaping, I just vape, and however much I need to vape in order to not want to smoke, that's exactly how much I'll vape. Worrying about it is ridiculous. If you aren't vaping so much you make yourself sick, it's not too much. If it does make you sick, reduce the nic level. If you just can't quit carrying it around and vaping continuously, increase the nic level, or add WTA. But giving up the coffin nails is stressful enough without inventing crap to worry about, like how much you vape.

I notice the same thing, will be fishing and realize several hours have gone by without a thought

Yeah but for me it's not really the need for nicotine. It's more, I just love vaping. I keep saying this but everybody's different. Some people just vape to get their nic fix, some vape because they love the taste and the hobby, etc...
I love vaping too which is why my mods and attys so far cost me around $1000 (that number will change at VapeXpo, a week from Sat). But I also love that I don't have to be so dependant on it like I was cigarettes when I vape a higher nic at a higher wattage. I enjoy my flavor just as much as I enjoy my nic fix. To me it's like my craft alcohol hobby. But even then. I don't have to suck down a 6 pack in the same day.

I'm also doing my best to conserve my juice habit/enjoyment for regulation. The less juice I have to use, the less, regulation will effect me. The newest update for my SX Mini will bring it to 150w with my dual battery extension. It's not something I'm willing to try because I'm afraid I'll like it too much. It already blows my mind that some are using 15ml+ a day. I don't want to be there with them.

I hear ya. I'm anywhere between about 5ml and 10 ml a day, but that's because I'm trying this 3mg lol. If I stick with my 6, I sit between 5-7 probably. I'm okay with that.

When I was a smoker I was only smoking around 1 cigarette per hour and around 1 pack per day. Now that I'm a vapor I feel like I have become a full on nicotine addict. I am basically sitting around vaping constantly all day and night. Oh and when i drink beer i do it even more.

Anyone else have this problem?

That happens; especially if you are using a tank.

If you use an rda, there's a start and an end just like with cigarettes.

Im not up to date on every study but, depending on the strength of nic you are using.
With cigarettes you absorb about .8-1.5 mg per cig depending on the brand. While there is usualy 8-12mg per cigarette your body only absorbs about 15% of it.
From what i have read of others research, vapingg you absorb even less nicotine. So out of that (ex 12mg juice) you would absorb 1.2mg per ml or less(assuming a 10.05% absorbtion rate). So if you chainvaped and went through 7 mls, you are still under half a pack.
Notice: I am not a doctor nor do i have equipment/knowledge to examine the bloodwork to determine an actual absorbtion percentage.

I feel that the smoking addiction is more severe that actually wanting nicotine. What I mean is the feeling of wanting to smoke is more desperate than wanting to vape, like thinking about when you're going to have your next cigarette through the day. Vaping being convenient might lend a hand to more usage, but overall I think the feeling of wanting a cigarette was more consuming. After vaping for a while I have no issue going long periods of time without usage and that urge. Are you vaping more because you want the nicotine like you did with smoking? Or are you vaping more because you like it more than smoking?

That being said I love to vape and it's less thought consuming than smoking. After the novelty of it wears off you might vape less. Perhaps vaping being more enjoyable and new is the "problem".

I think I vape more than I smoked simply because I don't have to run outside to vape -- which was a HUGE hassle, with smoking. Now I can vape all day, all the time, without that idiotic running outdoors every 30 mins.

But considering that we're getting FAR less nicotine from vaping than we did from smoking, and getting NONE of the toxins, I really don't see it as a problem.

Cigs have MAO Inhibitors added to them to slow down the nic absorption into the brain allowing you to go an hour between smokes. Juice does not have this added so the nic is absorbed faster, hence the chain vaping to keep the nic itch at bay.

I find that hard to believe. MAOIs have extremely serious interactions, some fatal. drinking alcohol on an MAOI is a big risk. Can you link to where you read that cigarettes have MAOIs?
