I used to get chapped lips when I first started with it. But sores.... I don't know, maybe some hot juice is hitting your lips.Try holding it a little more vertically (tip up) when hitting it, and drag slower. I have never hit my lips with hot juice, but I scroched my tongue once and it wasn't very painful, but annoying for days.

Hope you get it figured out.

Great idea, Thanks. I have been holding it kind of tilting it so that the juice runs towards the tip, and I have gotten juice on my lips several times. I thought that I needed to hold that way to get a better vape, but I just tried and it's great. I'm going to stick with this and see if that takes it away. I feel pretty stupid for doing that now!

while the angle you have it tipped and getting the juice on your lips is something to definetly be aware of, still dont discount the hydration issue. The VG/PG dehydrates you, you need to have upped your WATER consumption to counter act this. Not being properly hydrated, will make your lips drier, and drier lips are more susceptible to being damaged, cracked, or develop sores.

Water, stay hydrated. I hold mine like at a microphone angle or horizontal. Try putting the tip on different places on your lips, and aiming it in different places of your mouth as the day goes on.

And if I can, the tip gets hot? Maybe that might be a sign that you are hitting it a bit too much? Remember, it's ok to just put it down for a while. I know it's yummy and calming and satisfying and all.

And it could just be a cold sore, totally unrelated to vaping.

Hope it clears up.

I don't drink enough water, I'm really drinking today, glass after glass. I'll try to stick with it.
Yes, the tip will feel hot from time to time, but it could have been the liquid getting hot near the tip since I was kind of tilting it with the liquid up towards the tip. I thought that the heating element was near the tip and it would be a better vape, but now I'm holding down and it's still as good of a vape. Plus I notice if I draw it in slower, then that doesn't happen.

Good chance you will tell a difference in your skin especially your face too. Must remember that the carriers for the nic are pg and vg and both are humectants and just the nature of them is that they will take moisture wherever they can find it and lips are a good place to start as the vapor is there first. Water is good whether you vape or not and so is lip balm of some sort... even a drop of olive oil will do the trick in a pinch.

Something else to consider, it's always a good idea to roll a paper towel, napkin, or tissue into a point and stick it into the tip and turn it 360 degrees to clean out condensation that inevitably builds up with use.

If I forget to do that I occasionally get warm ejuice on my lips/mouth and it sorta feels like Orajel.

As for the tip heating up, switch to 3.0-3.2 ohm coils. They are superior anyways. ;)
