LOL you all are awesome! Thanks for starting this thread mobhs :D

But can anyone tell me, why oh why did Joss kill off Wash?

Oooh and yes he is brilliant as Alpha in Dollhouse. He was hilarious before he was revealed. Now he is so creepy. Amazing actor.

Anyway, loving talking all things Whedon. Good fun, Browncoats!

P.S. I read that when Summer was talking to Joss about the possibility of joining Dollhouse she said "I'd like to play a normal person someday before I die".

Because Joss is a sadistic b----d who loves to drag you in, make you care about someone and then kill them to make you cry.
He did it in Buffy and Angel and Firefly and Serenity and Dr. Horrible.
He loves killing people that he made you care about.

And that dirty so and so knows it will work.

:p

Oh, and to whoever puts Star Trek in the same camp as either: the only thing that Star Trek was ever good for was that it paved the way for Galaxy Quest. Ducking ...

As a long time Trekkie, I will say that Galaxy Quest was one dam funny ... movie! Wow, they nailed it. My Trekkieness was started by the tv show (old series) but it was the books that I found at used book stores that really took the characters to the next level.

Which makes me think, any fandom writing out there for Firefly? I haven't even checked! That would rock if there was!

I love Firefly as well, and do enjoy seeing the actors appear on other shows. As someone else already stated, all the good shows get canceled well before their time. Also miss Tripping the Rift, Futurama (said to be coming back but not with the original voices), all of the Star Trek permutations, Star Wars (the original 3 more so than the newer 3), Reading anything by Heinlein, Asimov and Clark. Don't know why, but Battle Star just depressed me....

Oh well glad to see other likeminded beings here.
