Vaping on TV show (Humans)

I caught the actor vaping on Humans. The show looks to have some promise.

My favorite TV vape moment of all time:



Skip to 1:40 minute mark for the beginning of the exchange. Heigl has since graduated to using a Provari.

I saw that too, it was actually my very first sight of an e-cig -- and I told my husband last night that I may have an idea why Letterman decided that it was time to cash in his chips -- you know whoopi goldberg is also a vaper, and I think Dennis Leary is or was at some point; on his show they both talked about quitting smoking, but nary a word about e-cigs -- because I think CBS said no more good press for vaping -- one of their sponsors is for that Nicorette crap! I can SOOOOOO see Letterman saying well {moderated} that, I'm outta here!

Someone recently told me about a show on HBO where the lead (female) detective vapes. I'm having a brain fart on the name of the show.

I think that's True Detective! My S.O. is watching it and mentioned to me that one of the main characters vapes. Nice to see vaping is getting more exposure!

This kind of fits here - Remember an episode of (I think) Stargate SG1 many years ago where they encountered a race of warriors who were enslaved by being addicted to an unknown substance. The device (controlled by their masters) was hidden but the mouth piece was right at their neck and when they got a 'dose' it was by inhaling. So it sort of resembled vaping with out the vaper. Think the SG1 team offered to help them escape by supplying them a substitute which they could control. Sorry, about all I can remember.

I saw that. I think it was a Provari. But yeah, it was not e-liquid being vaped, at least not in terms of the script.
