I will say that one thing about the Protank is that it did leak a slight little bit sometimes, and I'm the user who, like many people seem to say they've magically never got an awful tasting device, I'm the user who's magically never experienced much leaking on anything really. But the Protank II is the one device that gave me a bit of sass in that department. The juice seems to gather in the bottom plate like crazy, but the strange thing is that it never wants to wick well enough to give a smooth, moist, flavorful hit. I keep my volts a 3.3, using 2.5 ohm heads. The wicks they use in them IMO just don't soak up liquid well, I've sat there, took the heads apart, kept dripping juice on the ends of the wick, and it takes forever for the wick to pull that juice to the middle, no matter what juice it is.

Started with an eGo using Kanger T2s - worked okay for first attempt at vaping but they always leaked when chain vaping (seal around the coil expanding due to heat was my guess). Were easy to swap heads and fill. Moved to a mod and purchased a couple Vivi Nova's - problems from the get go; bad flavor and leaked like a drippy faucet. Got two PT1's...better but wasn't a real huge fan of the metal solid tip. Got a couple PT2's ....search has ended. Now, all we have are the PT1's for juice testing and 8 PT2's all recoiled using cotton (which tastes better than stock silica).

I will probably try a carto-tank for the benefit of larger tank...just haven't pulled the trigger yet. That said, there is the new Hyper Tank out which uses same coils as the PT but I don't think it can be fully broken down and cleaned like the PT2 (another huge advantage IMO).

I have 2 of them. Both of them gurgle when the juice level gets low. In one instance I had a drop of hot juice hit the tip of my tongue. Both of them seem to usually produce a dry, harshish vape for me with any juice I try in them. I get much smoother vapes with a Vivi Nova and the new IGO-S RDA I received this weekend (I love this thing). I am using a Provari mini, so with the Protanks I get what I am assuming was an unintended feature of being able to adjust the air flow depending on how tightly I screw it on. So far I have not tried one that I have recoiled myself, but I just got some wick and wire this weekend, so I will probably give that a go this coming weekend when I can have a good chunk of time.

Well I need to amend this a bit. So far I had only used the coils that came in the box and had gone too long without changing them. I swapped both out with some replacements I had ordered and this has made a HUGE difference. Can;t say whether or not the gurgles with be fixed, but all other issues are resolved. I'm pretty sure they are performing better than they ever did with the included coils.

Just tried mine for the first time this week-ProTank2. Don't like it at all. Too airy, zero flavor except for slight metal taste thx to the drip tip but i did swap that out w/a plastic one and metal taste gone, but still zero flavor and too cool of a vape for my taste. I will try it w/diff coils and give it another shot, but not impressed.

Everyone's got their own personal flair out there. Mine, is that I don't like the Protanks. I do like the evod, however, and even better to me is the Aro.
So, I know I like BCC's, but I just do not like the Protanks.

The good news, is that there are people out their who do like them, and if that keeps them off the analogs, then I consider that a glorious win!

Everyone has their favorite, and there is nothing wrong with that. IMO a person either takes the time to learn how to use whatever delivery system they choose, or they probably won't like it. AND, ProTanks are no exception.

Clearos are not my favorite way to vape, and I have a drawer full of them, from CE2's on up. Notice I said they are all in a drawer!
There are, however, plenty of folks that think ProTanks are the "cat-sas", and that's fine.
