Thank you NemesisBliss for starting such an engaging thread, I really enjoyed reading everyone's comments, even on the vegetarian cows being eaten by humanous carnivorous and all the other side topics!
Thank you tj99959! For;

I think this is a very important study as well as solid proof that as far as safety is concerned, there are still a lot of discoveries like this that need to be made to make vaping the safest we can possibly make it for all us, despite any potential for forced laws upon us. Aside from the specific dangers or health risks of nicotine itself, or any individuals specific adverse reaction to vegetable glycerin or propylene glycol, the two to three key ingredients to all nicotine based e-liquids. The real safety concerns and unforeseen health hazards are all in the flavorings that we use to make our liquids taste better. This article proves that we need to have more studies and vaping specific standards applied to the flavorings. We need tested vaping specific flavors manufactured and regulated because if true health concerns ever do arise in the vaping world, it will come from the flavorings. And who really knows what some of these e-liquid vendors are really putting in their liquids, we're putting a lot of trust into people (complete strangers) who are simply out to make a buck, are these the same people who put razor blades into apples during Halloween? Great find tj99959! I also read an even more frightening article on the butter flavoring, in that the people who inhaled it during its manufacturing process developed serious health issues. IMO, over the counter e-liquids needs far more stricter guidelines and regulations as to how they are manufactured and sold. Some of these vendors are just mixing liquids up in their garage, lol. Would this be acceptable for the medical industry to make inhalers for asthma sufferers in a garage setting or not post every active ingredient? Even bottled water has to have a list of ingredients and a nutritional facts label.
Thank you ZoiDman, for sharing this!
Madvapes Blog - Nicotine Concentration Over Time I'm not sure who suggested the link to the thread below or even if anyone in this particular thread did but I found this information very useful. And seems to corroborate the ZoiDman/Madvapes test that freezing nicotine concentrates is the smartest choice for long term storage.
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-nicotine-storage-long-post.html#post11818667 Basically what I got from the wizard labs article was; For long term nicotine storage solutions, nicotine should be stored in a in amber glass containers with a tight fitting cap to prevent exposure to oxygen, light, and moisture and placed in the freezer. I also liked how they pointed out that during their stability testing they consistently witnessed faster oxidation of VG based solutions in comparison to PG based solutions.
The absolute best solution seems to be to store 100% PG based nicotine DIY liquid in an amber glass bottle in your freezer! There is no disputable proof that says that liquid stored in this manner won't be any less vapeable 10, 20 or 100 years down the line. Sure the nicotine potency will drop over time but if you have 100mg of nicotine there is no way if stored properly that it will ever drop below 50mg in your vaping lifetime, which still needs to be be heavily diluted anyway. In which case I would add something like this:
http://www.eliquidtest.com/Instructions.aspx to your Vaping Armageddon Kit so you always have the ability to reach your desired mg level when mixing your own liquids. The only potential draw back to long term storage seems to be that as the nicotine solution “steeps”, the color may change and the solution may develop a stronger aroma, which is practically true for almost anything in life, lol.
As far as hording supplies up for your future vaping security, don't ever expect the government to have your back or that sound reason will ever prevail, this is a government by the government for the government, not a government for the people by the people. We are losing freedoms everyday and at a much faster pace than we are gaining them. Also, the laws of inflation and commercialism dictate that supplies will never be cheaper next year than they are today. I remember when gasoline was under a dollar and yes, people were even complaining then that it was to high, lol. I remember when milk used to be cheaper than gasoline, lol. Buying large quantities and stocking up on nicotine is definitely a wise choice! If you don't have at least one liter of 100mg nicotine in your freezer, how dare you even call yourself a vaporer, lol.
Sorry for the novel, lol!
