OK. What's the difference in vaping with a $200 mod with a $40-50 tank versus vaping with a $25 mod (iStick 30 clone) and $26 tank (Kayfun 4 clone)?

It is what I am using right now and I do not really understand what difference it could be compared to vaping with provary and authentic Kayfun.
If it works for you, then any differences are irrelevant. I think you're going to have to look really hard for someone to bust your chops about your set up. Those who vape expensive gear are never more than an arms length away from someone willing to point out how irresponsible we may be with our spending. Crazy, right?
I, for one, am really glad you found what works for you!

If they're all working correctly, not much.

Now the sx mini, which is $200 has different power modes and temp protection so its a truly customized vape.
Replace the word tank with the word atty and there could be a massive difference in the entire experience.

For example I'll take a reo grand and a bf drilled quality $45 clone (customized, so not necessarily still a clone of the original by way of functioning as not originally intended or even slightly expected) atty over any setup I can get for under $200.00 total all day, every day.

Being a heavy vaper and a truck driver who's hard on my equipment, it's more than worth it for me. Add in that I have less worries about future legislation affecting purchase prices of equipment that won't be necessary and it all just makes sense to me.

But these are not answers to my question. I do not want to use Ni (low ohm builds), so I do not want temperature control. I do not like dripping, so I do not need Reo. You suppose I may want to change my way of vaping. No, my question is rather simple: can replacement of cheap mod on provari and kayfun clone on authentic drastically change my vaping experience? I strongly believe not at all. Reminder: my question was provoked by comparison of cheap vaping equipment with camry and expensive with mercedes. In reality there is no difference except longevity and greater possibility to get a lemon for cheap.

You start by qualifying variables as constants to say I changed your question.

Then you suggest I may be telling you that you need to vape differently.

The you wrap it up by bringing back to saying exactly the question I answered... is there a difference between cheap and expensive.

The answer is...
Not usually...
But sometimes yes.

And I qualified the sometimes that applies to me.

Not my fault you don't like the answer.

Hope this can explain the concept:

People who I see in shops and out in public with nice vape swag and premuim juice are always really cool to me. I been vaping on the same busted up Fuhatten clone and Plume Veil clone for 6 months and that is the extent of my hardware. I DIY my juice.

The people with nice setups are always quick to share tips/vape stores/opinions/juice etc. One dude even gave me an 18650 battery after seeing the shape of mine and rendering it too dangerous to use. Im not going to lie and say I don't get a bit jealous when I see someone with a VaporFlask or Sigeli 150w box or whatever. Yeah, I would love to buy nothing but premium juice and have some back up hardware in case mine craps out.

For me I simply cannot afford anything else so I try to be content with what I have.

Hell, we even have a store that carries nothing but authentics (no clones of anything) and they have always been kind to me. So I am not sure what the OP is referring to.

At the end of the day it is important to remember that people vaping are trying to get off cigs in search of a healthier lifestyle

IMO opinion snobery is a character flaw just as those who feel a need to defend or justify their thrifty vape gear is the opposite end of the inferior complex spectrum. Who cares!
My advice to any new Vapor is always buy the best you can afford and you will never have any regrets.

Hey, I was told I'm supporting terrorists by buying anything made in China by a member here. Not just vape gear, but any generic product (paper products, cereal, pharmaceuticals).

So I am glad to know that not all of us who own things made in China are being treated poorly by vapers who have all non Chinese gear.

or less mileage under my ....?

The bird in my avatar has a lot of mileage under his ..... He's a wild caught parrot, so I'll never know his real age. He was imported in 1983, so he's at least 32. He could be 50+.

When I adopted him 3.5 years ago, he was in sorry shape due to poor diet and living conditions. He looks amazing now compared to then. We've gotten through the malnutrition and fatty liver. He is on meds for high cholesterol and hypertension though, but he's doing great :)
