Anyone else the target of teasing??

Oh man, I don't think anyone would dare with me, I would turn that around on them faster than you could say Kangaroo. I would smirk and say something like, "Really, you care what I'm smoking? Wow, you seem really fascinated by this. So just out of curiosity do you look at my hands often to see what I'm carrying around or is this just today? Like should I be worried when I go into the bathroom now? Or you going to be checking out what I have in my hands there, or do you only check out my hands and mouth when I'm smoking? I mean, would you like to hold my hands, maybe go skipping off into the sunset, or what's your deal?"

Then watch as the person in question backtracks and says something like "Dude, I was just joking <nervous laugh as other buddies now laugh at him>".

I usually just laugh and make fun of them for smoking (playfully of course). Even though I still smoke atm. Lol, who cares what people think, they always do even if you're doing everything perfect. Letting people bother you is like the worst stress out there.

Some ex-smokers get a little huffy and tell me I am still smoking, etc but I think they are a touch jealous because I didn't suffer when I quit the smokes.

That was my experience. My best friend quit smoking about four years before me. He used the patch and gum then finally beat it with Wellbutrin, which he continued to suggest even after I started vaping. He chilled out fairly quickly though as he saw its effectiveness. I think he was a little jealous. I got to have my cake and eat it too.

The non-smokers around me simply love it and they're some of the best ambassadors for e-cigarettes. They tell every smoker they know about them.

Today... smaller brains are laughing of our led cigarette. Is just a question of today. Right now is cool to smoke real cigarette. In the future is not going to be very cool to stay in cold weather, outside, and puff the thinner but much more expensive tobacco cigarette. If anyone is laughing about vaping i tell them to puff harder from them tobacco kind. They are having no ideea that inside that cigarette is only no more than 30% tobacco ( and this is only at high class cigarette... the rest is about 15%) and the rest for it is just grass and flavours. My cigarette is only having nicotine as them stuff is having at least 7 different substances that is proven to be cancerigene.

I usually don't get teased, but I did have a buddy that wanted me to go on a cigarette run to the store, to which I responded "Me? Nah I'm good, I quit smoking! *Blows out a huge vapor cloud*" His comeback? "Get your ... outta my house then with your gay little e-cig!"

I bought him a back of Reds anyways, seeing as I have the money to spare these days

Funny.....I brought it along with me for the first time this past weekend to a friend's house for a wine party. Of course, some of the ppl there teased me about it. But, I laughed along and just didn't care. The "teasing" didn't last long because it didn't bother me.

Most people just ask me if it works. Non smokers that I work with ask "going to puff on your ...?". (derogatory in the US obviously). Whatever, me and my robot "..." are happy and healthier now.

try vaping at a firehouse. we are brutal to each other as it is lol. the guys gave me hard time about it when i first started all i told them was "keep it up and ill turn your birth certificate into useless documentation". and while they tried to figure out what that meant i was able to vape in peace for at least 45 minutes. now when i break out my ecig they say something dumb and ask what flavors i have and if they can try.

Im a police officer in NSW - so that brutality is not unfamiliar. I took a spare ecig to work with me and my partner (heavy smoker) sucked on it all night long.

Its a federal law in Australia to be slay your mates as hard as you can - guys and girls both.

Gatso, you sure got that right. I think we are only second to the Irish who slay their mates as well as their mates parents and any other family member they can think of at the time....LOL.

Just a general question for you now, if I may? What is the general perception from the coppers in NSW in regards to vaping? Do most of them know about it. Just thinking about me walking around the streets with my Provari or soon to acquire Grip and what they might be thinking....LOL

I was the last smoker in my office about 4-5 people quite using chantix that never worked for me. I get some questions then i tell them i haven't smoked in almost 3 weeks and that turns into lots of congratulations and support. I still get the that thing is weird looking but if it keeps you from smoking god for ya.
