Yeah, this is a rather confused--and confusing--thread. I kind of like it. I'm thinking that Boston's throwing out tangential ideas and letting everyone try to weave them together into a story. Pretty interesting flow. Maybe worth a second read.

But Boston, what's up with the 'cold turkey' thing? I taught English abroad once, and cold turkey was one of the key idioms everyone taught. Suddenly. All at once. Yep, quit cigs, the paper kind, on that day. vaping only, V4L all the way, 18mg of nic. Funny, I don't really have an urge to quit nic. I don't drink, so maybe a little nic can still be my bad.

BTW, I wasn't kidding about my slightly red eyes when I vape sometimes. I'm actually trying to stop 'swirling' (playing with those great clouds of vape), which sends the vape into my eyes. But it's pretty entertaining, and the premiums make it too darned easy. Love those swirling clouds!

good morning jeff i was just curious about the (cold turkey)... some you talk too dont understand vaping and think its the samething as smoking, their main thing to say is (they both have nicotine in them dont they)... i understand what cold turkey meant but wanted to hear how you defend it i am sure most of us run across hard headed people that will never understand the benefits of vaping and say its the same as smoking...

i feel like we just passed a stimulus bill through congress with this thread, great job everyone and lets take a week recess... delegates from around the vapor4life worked hard over the last two days to get this bill ready...

no i do not advise anyone rubbing pg or vg on their eyes, or any other parts of their bodies

But it (PG) is one of the main ingredients in lube...in fact that's what I tell the walgreens people I'm doing with it when I go in to buy straight PG..they tend to sell it to me quickly and not hassle me anymore...

Oh and VG is sold and labeled as a skin softener...

it's the nicotine part I wouldnt advise rubbing into the skin

the pharmacy people have it behind the pharmacy counter or have to order it...half the time they're lazy and either act like they don't know what it is or say they cant get it...and when you press em they say they can have it to you the next day and it's like $11 for a pint and then ask what you want it for...
So I tell em I'm having a party and need lots of lube...and show em the back of some ky or something off their shelves...they shut up and order it right away for me...and have difficulty even looking me in the eye at that point ....lol

Iirc correctly, the ingredients list for Astroglide showed just PG/VG/water.. nothing else.

FWIW, Astroglide is the best thing on earth for a quick and easy way to turn a college dorm hallway into a Slip N Slide!

Easiest way to get PG from a pharmacy is to tell them it's for your cigar humidor. That's what they use.

Thanks, Boston. Sure disappointed not to have ol' Oscar on my mantle, but my tireless work on the stimulus bill, not to mention health care, nuclear disarmament, defense of vape as diff than smoke, and no more swirlin' vape to the eyes... well, I'm just plain worn out. Glad for the short recess, but I'll never forget the life lessons learned here! Fare thee well!
