Have been getting much more into direct lung hits lately and with that find that many of my rda/RBAs would need to be drilled out if I want to use them that way.

I know the KFL+ can be drilled out but not sure I want to do that just yet, I think I may with the caps on my RSST and AGI though.

Anyone ever go that route and then regret it later?

Do you guys drill everything out or are there any you leave stock? I have a few that I can do lung inhales with but would be more comfortable when drilled out I imagine, the RSST as example.

I have single hole toppers that I like stock. IGO-L, IGO-F, AGT, etc. Good clean jet orifice can only help laminar flow.

I have drilled just about every dual coil cap. Haven't found a good way to de-burr inside cap; any ideas? I'm thinking of using my 1/4" die grinder but it's kinda mean. Don't have a dremel.

I had to drill out my Igo. My Omega has 2 adjustable air holes wide open they're 1/8 and I like them. When I did my Igo-T I just started small and worked my way up the ladder. I like it now at 7/64. When I look in the air holes I can see the top of my deck lip a little. Where I messed up was scratching it trying to get the burrs off. After scratching it I remembered seeing where someone said to use the next larger size bit to just do the opening to get rid of the whistle noise, so that's what I did. Wish I would have done that first.

I do have a Trident clone I have been running on the dual air hole setting over dual coils which has been great. I guess this experience is what is driving me to think of drilling out others. Maybe I'll just look for other RDA clones with big airflow rather than take the chance of destroying the ones I own now. Maybe I'll just pick up an Omega and be done with it for now, then again I'll be ordering a Reo shortly and will have those RDAs to deal with...lol.

SS can be brutal on tiny bits. What I do is drill a cone w/ a large bit; 3/16" or so. Then the small bits punch through easy.

1/8" exposes lip on IGO-W but they still vape great w/o grinding lip. That is once you figure out how to de-bur the hole.

I have one counter sink bit that works great. Much better and faster than a floppy tiny bit. I plan to buy more sizes.

Kayfun is NOT a Cloud Buster.
Drilling a little to free up air flow is fine, but remember it is also channeled through a hole in the center pin.
Over drilling could ruin it.
I'd save big holes for Cheap RDA's
Omega is a goo test bed. Large holes and internal holes so it it is to airy you can offset to reduce flow.

I watched a vid on drilling out a Kafun and don't see the point due to the internal center pin so I won't even try that. Was thinking of trying my hand at drilling out with an inexpensive clone like the Patriot or something or maybe this $3 Igo-L knock off I have.

I deburred my IGO-W's in a satisfactory manner:

1/2" stone on 1/8" shaft chucked in drill.
Drill in vice.
Set drill CW and start.
Debur
Set drill CCW and start.
Debur.
Avoid O-ring seats.
Very quick and fairly clean.

Yikes, that sounds like a lot, the vids I've watched the guys doing it looked like they just ran a drill bit through the hole and made it bigger. Hadn't thought about burs and stuff.

IGO-W burrs are nasty. My SS knife wouldn't phase them. They were worse because I have 6 IGO-W's plus other toppers and my bits are getting dull (which doesn't take long w/ SS).
