Anyone get laught at?

I have not smoked an analog for close to 3 weeks.
I have to vape in smoking areas at work, everyone else is smoking analogs.
I'm just using a 3.7 tank system battery with a LR atty and a driptip, I try to use cartos at work because when I pull out my juice and drip they really think i'm wierd.
They ask what I'm doing and I say It's an e-cig. The response is I've tried them and the don't work.
Then the say that does not look like an e-cig, there is a lot of smoke when I exhale, I tell them it's not smoke it's vapor. It's just a nicotine delivery system, I try to explain but I get shunned.
I'm not going to ever smoke again because I don't want to. I really get more satisfaction from vaping.
I was just wondering if anyone else has had the same situation.
Could you imagine what would happen if I brought a Mod to work.

I do bring both of my mods to work and I vape openly at my desk and once in a while I'll go outside just to get away from the phone and the computer. I've had people ask about them and if they work, or make funny comments about how one of them looks like a pipe bomb or that I'm "smoking a flashlight", but I've never been ridiculed for using them. They're usually pretty impressed with the vapor production and the fact that I've been smoke free for coming on ten months. I don't try to explain unless they show REAL interest by asking questions about how much they cost or if I think it'll work for them. Most people are excited when I tell them that I can vape at my desk.

I use a Prodigy at work with a vaporescence carto tank on board. I get some funny replies from smokers but I always tell them that they have one foot in the grave and I chose to pull mine out.

I get attitude and comments quite often, (and I dont shove it into peoples face) but I really could care less anymore. The way I feel, breath,can smell and taste makes up for anything people may say now. I say embrace your inner dork, VAPE WITH PRIDE and KNOW that you are doing something wonderful and kind to yourself!

Making people laugh counts as a Good Deed in every faith tradition known to man!

Like WomanOfHeart, I'll still go outside sometimes. On one such occasion, someone said it reminded them of "smoking dope". I was a little taken aback by this comment, but I console myself with the fact that going outside is now a choice for me. If I don't want to deal with the heat/cold/rain/etc, I can always find a place to vape indoors.

I'm not allowed to use my PV at my desk so I do end up outside along with the analog users. They are generally impressed with the amount of time I've not smoked analogs and mostly inquisitive about the PV itself, how long it last and so on. I'm actually glad that I have to go outside so maybe my little bit of information can help someone make the switch for their health. I do not by any means take any stance against analogs or chastise them for using them like I'm better than they are, I just explain for me personally I chose to take this path and have enjoyed it so far as for ME it's cheaper, easier and less costly, especially since my wife doesn't cringe while kissing me now lol. Remember, more flies with honey and keep your cool.

I don't often get laughed at, but my Silver Bullet with CE2tank gets a lot of comments: It looks silly/stupid/weird/whatever.
I usually tell the smokers that it looks better than a portable oxygen tank (!), or that the $15000 my wife and i have saved don't look silly. That usually shuts them up

Either way, just ignore them. You're the winner here, and they propably know it!

I used to get chuckles a bit then started vaping in the bathroom with my eGo. I've switched up to a 5v mod though and it has too high vapor production for use in there now. So I'm going outside with the smokers now but don't mind it. It gets me away from the desk and outside where I can clear my head. I get lots of comments on using my Tekk - I just tell em it's a detonator to be used when anyone at the office pi$$ses me off. What's funny, everyone is nice to me so I think I get the last laugh

The people that make snide comments aren't worth talking about it to. After awhile you don't even pay much attention to them.

I appreciate all the responses, sometimes I feel like an outsider when they say here comes the fake smoker.
I don't act like I'm better or preach like a reformed person. It just kinda feels like i'm in my own world.

I've gotten nothing but positive comments and inquisitive questions about my pv. I have a black 808d-1 with a blue LED. Everyone has been really supportive and the non-smokers all say the same thing "You can smoke that thing anywhere, huh? Cool"

I think it's funny because I don't smoke it anywhere. But all the non-smokers keep wanting me to vape everywhere!

Only negative response I have had was on of the plumbers saying to me in all seriousness, with an accusatory look on his face " whats that? your crackpipe?" I looked him dead in the eye with a warning look on my face and said " nah its an electronic cigarette..... beats the hell out of smoking two packs a day" and I turned and went back to work. shortly thereafter and for the rest of the day his tone and demeanor were apologetic, without actually apologizing of course, but I am ok with that. All other inquiries have been one of interest and a little of marvel.

I'm not sure that I've gotten laughed at, but I have gotten chuckled at for sure. Don't mind at all, tho. A bit over a month vaping and I already feel a lot healthier.

It doesn't happen often but narrow minded stupid people will laugh at you once in a while. They think it looks ridiculous. You know what looks ridiculous? A person who smokes cigarettes knowing they are killing themselves slowly that KNOWS there is an amazing device to replace that nasty habit. Every time they laugh just remember: They'll prob. be dead much sooner then you because of they're ignorance. Now who has the last laugh!

You know I can honestly say I've never vaped anywhere outside of my home and vehicle. Maybe I'm secretly worried about it, I don't know I've never really thought about it before.

The girlfriend thinks it's great along with my mom so really who the hell else matters.

I carry a purse so it's easier for me but I printed up some pamphlets too. If someone is interested I give them one.
