I have 2, one chrome and one SS, both operate great. The button is solid, no rattling etc. works great with a single 18650, lasts a loooong time. I've been using both exclusively in "wattage mode" and it maintains my wattage setting after battery swap. Funny enough I find myself using it more than my ProVari. Not because its better, it's relatively similar in function, but the variable wattage feature has me hooked. All in all its a great mod that you won't completely break down if you accidentally lose it, and it will perform great. Long term simply can't be determined because its so new, but it seems to have a solid enough build to withstand just about anything.

If you are hesitant about pricing, hue it a month the price will come down. Or keep your eyes on the classifieds, I'm sure people will be swaping etc, just like every other mod it's not for everyone. Now that I have the stainless I might sell my chrome one just because I don't need 2 and my fiancé already gives me funny looks about all the mods and projects I have around.
