Well my mate Terry kindly sent me some 2mm SS rope (some 7x7 and some 7x19). Top it off with a 3mm ekowool sleeve, it's amazing mate. I've always ranked cotton as the best for flavour, until I tried the rope

Yep i can second that daz, It wicks brilliantly, lasts a lifetime LOL, and the taste is the best i have ever had. If you pm me your address mate i will send a couple of pieces to you.

How do you taste that? Wouldn't it just taste like the sleeve? Idk? I have a few different size Ss rope wick, just haven't used any, seemed like a hassle using Ss mesh or a sleeve on top.

Hey ray, the taste i am talking about is whatever juice i am using. The actual rope wick just feeds the ekowool sleve by the way of capilliary motion. It just wicks so well, and i think that is why you get so much flavour coming through.

And it is well worth any hastle imo.

I think I will order the Vamo and see if I get charged any vat or import duties, I'd better not tell the Wife though

I ordered a Vamo v5 from FT and as far as I can remember the total for the order was what I paid in the end, no extras. Be prepared for a wait though. Always go by the latest date it will arrive, then add a day!

Already got that size thanks for the offer. I have ecowool and have only tried it once and didn't like the taste but it was just a plain coil on it in a protank might give it another go.

Been for more liquid today just hangsen ry4 / chocolate strawberry / chocolate banana i do like a sweet vape.
Also picked up a plain ce4 drip tip and cut the end of just leaving the thread it fits the rocket perfect.hate standing outside at work with a cold drip tip

No probs mate, There is no reason that you couldn`t use cotton on the rope daz. In fact next time i do a build i am going to try it.

Funny you mentioned cotton I've just cut some rope thought i would try it in the aga first.
I think my ecowool is 2mm couldn't get it on the rope so wraped a small piece of mesh on top of the rope then brushed it with cotton to build a layer up.
Your right it wicks really well:thumbup:

Just take a piece of cotton and twist the wick against it lightly it will pick the cotton up onto the wick.
Just think how they spin candyfloss you'll get the idea.
Im sure i watched riptripper video on how to do it.

Bit peed off with RM though, went to pick up the parcel today at the Sorting Office. Guy there says Good news & Bad news. Good news, we've got your parcel. Bad news, there's VAT to pay. Had to pay 6 pound something for VAT and £8 RM handling charge - robbing gits

The RG500 and copper drip tip are coming from FT (also ordered a wood drip tip). So when the one gets here from the US I'll just have to use another topper until the RG500 gets here from FT, but they had a 5 day ship wait, so it will be a while. Down the road I might order the Bronze RG500, but I have to cut back for a little while, now got 8 orders incoming, 3 with no tracking yet.
