Talking of coils, after my success with the rope and cotton on my i atty i just re-did my kraken. 6 wraps micro around a 3 mm bit 1.5 ohm`s, did the brush with cotton adjusted the airflow a touch, filled up with pina colada and it is BRILLIANT. Tons of vapour, and the flavour is totally off the scale. I am well chuffed with these genny style atties.

Yes it is from jj Ian, i have got two faves from there the afore mentioned and the key lime; i love em both. So the twilight fro steamgunk ? is it as good as liqua berry mix or better do you think ?

EDIT: the sunshine e-liquid looks very nice.

I'd say the twilight is as good as berry mix. I need to try it out in a regular tank next though, to be able to compare it properly. I've got high hopes for the strawberry cream tart too. Overall, it's pretty good juice from there though, I'll be ordering again when I've tested it properly.

Well I am down to 7 incoming orders, Got Vape Mail Today from FT. Really like the Vivi Novas I got today, the center pin is spring loaded, really cool, don't have to worry about screwing it down too tight and pushing the center pin down on the battery. The coils sucked, over 3 ohms, put in a rebuilt and is vaping like crazy with my SVD.

Some of the novas I've got are spring loaded too mate, does make things easy when using different mods. You want to have a try wicking them with cotton Burnie, you honestly won't believe the difference in taste and vapour - it turns a $3 atty into a $30 one

Last of the vapemail arrived today from Alice in Vapeland

I'll be letting it steep another week or so though, cos it looks like it's just in the colour changing faze. Wasn't expecting this one yet, cos I've not even had a tracking number for it, so it was a nice surprise.

Tell you what, I'm really impressed with the delivery, came in a customized box with the white rabbit on the base, a forest scene inside the lid, a personalised note inside wishing me a happy new year and a custom playing card with a scene from Wonderland on it. I also got 4 extra samples as well to try out, when I was only expecting one. Finally, each bottle has a small metal charm attached which relates to the flavour.

This company really know how to do things right, from packaging to price, everything is absolutely spot on. If the juices taste as good as they look I'll be really happy

Anyhoo i was chain vaping the kraken last night and put a fresh battery in. Wicking couldn`t keep up with me lol and i got a nasty burnt taste. The cotton was pitch black, so i just popped the rope out and replaced the cotton "job done in 2 minutes" vaping lovely and clean again.

Was thinking the same thing myself mate, I've still got Claire's aga parts sat here waiting.

It's great when it's that easy to change stuff. My RSST is still going perfect on the same wick/coil.

I've been dripping the Zeus juice today mate too. There's not a bad one out of them, just a shame I got stung for VAT on the order - their all great tasting juices. Managed to blow one of my protected batteries too in the dripper. It didn't get hot or pop or anything just stopped working So the protected bit worked. I was chain dripping one of the Zeus juices in the YK1 using a 1.0 ohm silica coil, one minute great vapour the next nothing. Took out the battery tested it on the multimeter - 0.00 volts. Pulled off the protected circuit tried it again on the multimeter 3.02 volts - so that's gone in the bin. I've had it for about 6 months and it's had a lot of use.

Very nice mate, so the dragon battery is exactly the same height as the SVD

Is the wood varnished or is it just plain, it's a bit hard to tell from the photos ??

I'm pretty sure you can get replacement switch components for the SVD, or it may just be a loose connection - hope you get it sorted Burnie

Yeah it happens mate, when i had the rocket sometimes i was getting a tingling in my hand when i vaped it. killed a battery 2 or 3 times, and i didn`t know what was causing it until --- I went to re-coil it. It was then that i saw a piece of wire which i had clipped the last time i had built it, was on the deck.

It must have been causing a short or something and as i said i lost about 3 batteries, could have been worse i suppose.

EDIT: I thought you would have been out for some cotton balls by now mate, It works wonderfully on the rope.

To be honest I think I was chain vaping a bit too much and probably overdid it on the current draw. Protected batts don't really cope well with high amp draw, so it probably blew the protection circuit. Not a great loss, I've still got another 3 of those batts. At least it shows they do cut out when their supposed to
