Wow. And that's just an estimated ship date! I think this will be my first and last pre-order. It makes no sense to me. Make the product and sell the product -- simple. Don't collect money when the product isn't even made yet (not talking about IKV).
You are right Chase,
The truth is we couldn't afford to offer the pre-order without you guys.

I understand that and don't hold Isaac personally responsible. That's why my issues, as stated, are with the makers that put out these pre-orders. Hell, the main reason why I went with Isaac to begin with is my trust in him to take care of his customers.
I knew that MM. I know you weren't blaming or flaming Isaac. I'm sorry if it came out that way.
Aren't they locate in the Philippines? Or am i wrong?

China, Philippines, or Viet Nam, they're all the same. My point was going through customs and other countries holidays have made more than one shipment take forever.

I knew this would likely result in a longer wait than they said, but I figured the best situation I could ask for was to go with a vendor that isn't some random pop-up company that has no face. I would be sweating bullets if I went with another vendor!

:lol: Isaac could tell you the same about me. he has earned my trust as much as a vendor can. that's not an easy task for most.

Though I have never ordered anything form IKV before, I knew of them and trusted the reputation enough to jump into this preorder. Otherwise would have done without, or waited until in stock somewhere, or would have gotten a cheapo clone one day when available. I do agree these preorder are rather stressful, but think it will be well worth it when tracking number arrives! :cool:

I just sent a cancellation request to IKV. I understand that this happens, but if it is the 16th then that'll be two months. I already bought some other rda's that are just as good. I'll probably just get the clone now. I dont want this to turn into another SSV pre order fiasco.

I picked up a couple patriots that I absolutely love since I got in on this pre order but I still want to get that Zenith in my hands. The build quality just looks great.

Starting to get pretty frustrated that this keeps getting pushed back. My buddy ordered his the same time as me from a different vendor and has had his for a week. If they push it back again I'll probably cancel my order and try to find one elsewhere. Would be nice if we could get an update sometime soon from Iken other than them just saying the preorder wouldn't happen without us.

I apologize for the lack of update guys and thank you for hanging in there.
I went from feeling excited,to anxious, then exhausted. In short, they told us we cleared the machinery breakdown, then they stated that we didn't and we got pushed back because of the size of our order. I have been very diligent on securing everything, but sometimes with manufacturing processes things can get out of my hand no matter how much against it I am. I'm not just a vendor but a fellow vaper that has all the needs and wants you guys have, but with more responsibility added on and while the latter is crushing I'm trying to tough through it for you guys to make sure you get them. They offered blemished models for immediately delivery but you can guarantee I swatted down that idea without a second though. IT's tough when these things happen but please keep in mind, the creators are people just like you and me trying to forge a new future and get by.
Here is an excerpt from an email I previously sent.

. I have been emailing as people as I can to keep them informed with the happenings. Since your dating back from the last one received was on the 6th. There may be a few things you did not know. The creators did tell us they have shipped, however a week later we started hearing rumors that the factory had a machine had broken down and put a delay on all production. I inquired the matter though they said that we made it just before the catastrophe. About a week later I noticed there wasn’t any activity on our tracking number and when I inquired about this, they confirmed that we did not make it out of production because of the delay. They’re telling us that they are completely done with the production and they are shipping to us.

That's too bad buddy and knowing you as I do I know how your feeling about this. You try to give the best service and then something out of your control happens and even though it isn't your fault you feel terrible about it. The good thing is most of your customers are good people and good friends and even though they don't like it any more than you they will wait with you. Everyone also knows how these pre-orders go. You know I'm behind you 100% and have no thought of making things worse for you by abandoning ship.

I'm not going anywhere either and will wait however long. Might have to compensate myself by buying some kind of high wattage device! :D

So... I know nothing of iken... yet here I sit as my money has already left my hand a month or so ago. I probably more then most am the most skeptical and concerned about getting shafted.... However with everything I've learned here, and the way this community is.... The fact that ecf trusts and is sponsored by iken calms me enough to keep my pre order in place... (not counting how sweet the zenith is)

I'm officially done with pre-orders, period. These manufacturers need to realize they're not some magical alchemists turning lead into ******* gold.

The "professional" YouTube reviewers are at fault as well, specifically RipTrippers, "Oh my gawd, it's literally the best vape I ever had....since five minutes ago!". It really does a disservice to us enthusiasts, I'm over it.

Hell, I might as well go smoke a cigarette and forget this madness.

On the flip side, props to IKEN for having integrity, letting us know what the score is, and refusing bad product.
