I'm new here, so bear with me.
This site got really good reviews for their products, but during my couple hours of reading here, I never saw it mentioned.

I'm thinking about getting this product from them. It's their version of the Ego's.
Premium EGO Ecigarette Starter Kit - PremiumEstore LLC

Says it has a 4.2 v battery. Is that considered "good" these days? Will it produce some good vapor?

Also, say I wanted to get a tank system for it and an atomizer instead of the cartomizers they already offer...how would I know if that's possible with this particular Ego? And how would I know which atomizers/tanks would be compatible with it?

I guess that goes for any product. I need help finding a good e-cig! I'm tired of looking! lol

Your best off going with the newer Ego =Twist, they come in 650mAh = smallest 900mAH bigger, and 1000mAh = Biggest, these are variable voltage and will allow you to adjust upward or downward on your power output, this way you can dial in your Atty's/Carto's to there max performance,,, priced around $24-$27 per Batt,,, best to get at least 2 of them or a kit if you dont have the USB Charger which you will need. just my 2c

I've never heard of that vendor, but if they aren't well known and trusted by veteran members on this site I wouldn't advise purchasing from them. Besides, that kit only comes with 1 650 battery which is overpriced for what you get. Most kits in that price range should come with 2 full e-cigs. My starter kit was KGO kit1100mAh by SLB has 2 1100 mah batteries which run higher than 3.7v (3.8-4.2). Each battery last me a day and a half and I get plenty of vapor with everything I put on it. They are a well known reputable vendor and I have since placed multiple orders with them. Also it is more reasonably priced at $45 and highly recommended. If you are gonna spend $80 then at least go with a genuine Joyetech product like the Ego Twist Vision Kit, which lets you adjust your voltage. When looking for tanks/cartomizers/atomzers for your ego device basically all you need to know is that it has a 510 threaded connection - which is compatible with almost everything out there unless it specifically says it only fits another device like a 901 or 808. I'm not sure if you meant tank system as in ego-T style tanks, or a cartomizer tank (like a DCT tank which I would recommend after you get the hang of things) but clearomizers are another option which are much easier to fill than cartos, and don't have issues with leaking juice like the ego style tanks systems and why I just got my sister this kit http://www.sweet-vapes.com/shop?pag...color_plus.tpl&product_id=1033&category_id=31 from another reputable vendor. They also hold more fluid. Hope this helps.

The kit you linked to is not an Ego device!!! It doesn't even have a 510 connection. Nothing Ego/510 threaded will fit it because IT IS NOT AN EGO.

The kits on this site all use cartomizers with a female connection (like an 808). Except for one; their Express kit uses a male (510/Ego style) connection. But, their Express kit is their disposable kit.

I would not consider this site to be reputable!!! Whether they don't know the difference, don't care, or may be purposely misleading, I don't know. But, either way, their facts are wrong!

You can build that kit yourself for half as much.

I'd go with a passthrough battery if you're going fixed volts. About $17.

Forget the cone, get some boge cartos to begin with $7ish for five.

10ml of liquid is pretty cheap, though I'd do a sample pack from somewhere. About to order one from Mr.Vape since I can get 60ml for $20 and people here consider him pretty good. I'm also eyeing the 120ml unflavored from ecigonline for $8.50 and picking up some flavoring, though my concoctions from the "make your own" things have been total failures. Generally, you shouldn't have to pay more than 65¢ per ml even at the good places when you're buying the smallest bottle. I dunno, maybe for a first timer I'd suggest the TopVapor stuff from MadVapes.

And that'll do you. Or, you can get a Stardust clone, I'd go for one with a "rebuildable" head (replacable.) I have a Kangar T2. And there always the dual coil tanks (DCT) types that are the hip cool thing now.

Or, skip the cartos and tanks and go for some CE3s, if you can find them in stock anywhere. Just don't get the ones that call themselves smokeymizers, it's the original, old, leaky design.

But that kit is overpriced and has hardware that you'll consider primitive and doofy after finding what else is out there.

+1 for the eGo Twist. That is what I started out on (a 650 mah & a 1000 mah). It is great for beginners. If you get just a standard one that is not variable voltage, you will want to upgrade shortly. Now I have already upgraded from my Twist, but it is not an indictment on the Twists, I am just a compulsive spender. You will be very happy with the Twist.
